I stood there stunned, not knowing what to say. He rolled his eyes when I didn't respond to his announcement. "Seriously, I don't know how I ever got stuck with you as a mate. You're stupid and not very pretty." I saw Henry's grip tighten slightly on the crossbow as he listened to Sam berate me, I knew he was struggling to keep his cover by wanting to stand up for me.

"I want to rule all of the werewolves. There will be no more Alpha's and Luna's, everyone answering to different people that will be no more. I'm going to rule over everyone, they will all answer to me." He spread his hands out like he expected applause, all he got from me was a snort.

"You really think you're going to be able to overthrow every Alpha in the country? The Moon Riders will overtake you in a minute." I scoffed. He should have known better than to think that the Moon Riders wouldn't step in to stop him.

Sam started laughing. "Oh you stupid girl you. Why don't you think they haven't shown up yet?"

I didn't answer because it was a good question, why hadn't they shown up yet? There had been multiple attacks yet no one has heard from them.

"I don't want you to hurt your small brain while you think about it so I'll just tell you, plus, I love to brag." He waggled his eyebrows. "General Hartsock and his loyal band of minions was the first place we hit. After I killed the General the rest of them fell quite easily. I did offer to spare lives if they wanted to join, a few of those cowards actually did join me too." How had we not known that they had been taken over? "No one would have suspected a bunch of rogues taking on that bunch." He said answering my question.

"What about the Mer's and fairies that work for you? How did you even find them?" I asked hopefully stalling long enough for our pack to fight them off and someone come help me.

"Ah good, the survivor we left did live. I was hoping he would long enough to instill fear into people." He said gleefully. "And to answer your question Mr. Lockwood here was my hookup to the other supernatural creatures."

"Not that he gave me much of a choice." Lockwood grunted but then smiled.

"Yes, we did have a bit of a rough start." Sam chuckled. "I threatened his life, he threatened mine, it was quite the ordeal. We came to an agreement though, once he helps me conquer the werewolf world I will help him take over the rest of the supernatural world. Mers, fairies, trolls, etcetera."

"A human ruling the supernatural? That would never work, they would kill him in an instant." I rolled my eyes at their stupidity, a human could never rule over a supernatural being, we are all too strong for them.

"They can't if I'm a werewolf." Lockwood grinned cockily. "I'm just looking for that right she-wolf that wants to rule the underworld by my side." So that was his plan, to find, or capture really a female wolf that would mark and turn him. He would probably kill her after she had served her purpose.

"What's he got to do with all of this?" I said jutting my chin towards Henry.

"I'm just here for Mers." Henry answered the question I had directed towards Sam.

"So boring." Sam rolled his eyes at him before turning to me and scrunching his nose. "Still trying to get him into all of this but he's only focused on those stupid fish. We thought bringing him along would open his eyes to the possibilities."

I was happy to know that Henry was sticking to the Mer hunter story but I was concerned about him being here with a weapon in hand. The pack didn't know about him yet and I was afraid if a pack member saw him they would try to kill him.

"Anyways, so that's my life. How's life been for you? Been kicked out of Luna lessons for not having a mate or have you found some poor pathetic thing to be your mate?" He smiled at me sweetly acting like he actually cared but I knew better.
