What's the name of the guy at this first place again?" Troy asked from the driver's seat. It was he, Annie, me and Ellie in his truck, everyone else was in Eddies SUV

"James isn't it?" Annie looked at me to verify. I quickly looked back over the paperwork to check, I should have memorized this before we had left but I just hadn't wanted to think about it yet.

"Uhhh." I shuffled thru papers until I found his bio. "Yes, James Jones of the Silver Fang pack. Twenty Nine and a warrior, his mate was killed three years ago in a car accident. She was carrying their second pup at the time." It must have been a serious accident to kill a werewolf, we usually can come out of certain things with not too serious of injuries. For a car crash to kill one of us, it had to of been bad.

"Second pup?" Ellie asked. I looked back down at the paperwork, I hadn't caught that. If it was their second pup that meant there had to be a first pup, meaning he had a child already. Not a very big deal but was I ready to be a mother already? And how would this child like having to move three hours away from the only home it's ever known?

"Yeah, I guess he must have one already." I answered her distractedly. I hadn't thought about kids being in the equation of this, but it very well could be something I have to come to terms with. All these guys had mates at one time, the likelihood of most of them having pups were very high. The complicity of this just became higher, not only will I have to find someone to be my mate and fall in love with, but there may be a chance I could also be becoming a mother right away. The thought of a new mate, a new child, and becoming Luna all at once overwhelmed me.

"Why don't you try to get some rest? We are about an hour out. I will wake you when we get there." Annie suggested. She must have noticed that I was on the verge of having a meltdown and asking anymore questions would just push me over the edge. I nodded to her that it was a good idea and got comfortable, closing my eyes I let myself drift off into dreamland.

"Renee? Renee. We are almost there." I felt Ellie softly shaking me awake. I opened my eyes and saw that we were nearing the Silver Fang territory. I felt myself starting to get nervous.

We must have been closer than I thought because all of a sudden there were wolves running besides our vehicles, the warriors of the pack I am assuming. It was normal for warriors to escort anyone onto the territory, wanted or unwanted guests. It was a way of protecting the pack from danger and keeping an eye on anyone that was not yet trustworthy. For us however it was an escort of respect, the Alpha of this pack had high regards for Uncle Alph and Aunt Lou.

A few minutes later we pulled up in front of the pack house, I bent my head back as I exited the truck to be able to see all of it. Most packs have gone to the individual houses way of things but some packs still lived in pack houses, I wasn't sure yet which I liked more. The thought of having my friends and family all under one roof made me very happy but I also loved being able to have privacy when I needed it.

"Welcome, welcome! We are so glad you are here." I looked to the front doors and saw Alpha and Luna Fang standing there with smiles on their faces. Since they were our closest neighbors in the werewolf world I had met them once before, they were a nice couple although I found it odd they named their pack after themselves. It did however make it easy to remember their names.

"Alpha, Luna." I nodded my greetings.

"Eek!!! I am SO glad you are here!!!" I smiled at that high pitched voice, it was Lana Fang their daughter. She was seventeen and in a whirlwind she came running down the stairs pulling me with her right arm and Annie with her left into a huge hug. "I've missed you guys! Why don't you visit more?" She pulled back giving us both swats on our arms.
