Facing Villains

As a dark portal appeared in a dark sky, Mika came out of it and started falling. When Mika uncovered her face, she realized she was falling, making her panic, "Crap!!" she shouted. Eagle wings quickly emerged from Mika's back, making her catch herself and fly forward.

Mika sighed in relief, "If I kept falling, I'd be as good as dead." she said before flying higher and looking around. Mika could only see fire and destroyed buildings covered by the flames, "I think it's safe to say that I'm in the Fire Zone in USJ." she said.

Mika looked at the ground, "Is anyone I know in here?" she asked herself, "I hope they're alright..." When Mika looked forward, she saw someone falling to the ground, shocking her, "That's someone from class; I need to get to them fast." she said before shooting toward them.

When Mika was close to the falling student, she noticed the figure had a tail, "Ojiro!" she shouted. Mashirao looked up and saw Mika, surprising him, "Lyoko!" he shouted.

Mika looked at Mashirao, "Hold your arms out!" she shouted; he nodded before holding his arms out. Mika flew close to Mashirao and grabbed his arms, pulling her down with him.

Mika held her wings out, "Not on my watch." she said, slowing them down; when they stopped falling, she flapped her wings a bit. When the duo was close to the ground, Mashiro let go of Mika's arms, making him land on the ground, "Thanks for the save." he said.

Mika nodded as her wings disappeared, making her land on the ground. Mika looked at Mashirao, "We need to get back to the others quickly." she said; he nodded before they started sprinting forward.

(Small Time Skip)

After the duo sprinted around the Fire Zone, they stopped briefly and tried catching their breaths. Mika looked around, "I believe the exit will be close to the walls of this facility." she said. Mashirao nodded as he tried catching his breath, "I agree... we need to find the exit." he said.

"You're leaving already? But you just got here." the duo felt chills down their backs when they heard that voice. When the duo turned around, they saw villains surrounding them.

The duo were back to back and looked at the villains, "Should've known something like this would happen." Mika whispered; Mashirao nodded, "What do we do?" he whispered.

Mika transformed into a Fennec fox hybrid before grabbing the pen-like object from her utility belt and pushing the button. Soon after, the pen-like object turned into a stun baton, "If we're on our own... then we have to fight back." Mika said.

The villains laughed at Mika, "This girl's got some spunk in her." one villain said. The villain held his machete up, "It's a shame that we have to kill you." he continued.

Mika smirked, "Here's the thing... I don't plan on dying when I have people who care about me at home, so all of you can go to hell!" she shouted.

The villains were angry, "You're a pest; get them!" he shouted, making the other villains charge toward the duo; they quickly jumped before they got close.

As Mika landed on the ground, the villain swung his sword at her, making her raise her left arm. As Mika blocked the villain's sword, she swung the stun baton at him, electrocuting him. Mika pushed the villain back and kicked him in the face, knocking him out.

The other villains surrounded Mika and charged toward her. Mika quickly transformed into a kangaroo hybrid and jumped high before the villains got close.

When the villains looked up, Mika transformed into an elephant and slammed into the villains, knocking them out instantly. Mika transformed into a Fennec fox hybrid and stood properly, "It's not the greatest strategy, but in this scenario... I have no choice." she said.
