A/N: For some reason, I thought that this chapter and the next two on the other website was when things slowed down. Maybe because this felt like an end of the story, or it started to get unpopular. If that's how you feel as well, I apologize.
I needed something to fill this story up that didn't involve the other characters. I'm sorry for this rant, but the story must and will continue.

On a rainy day, Mika and Koji were walking back to the dorms with a few bags and umbrellas. Koji looked at Mika, "Thank you for coming with me to the store." he said. Mika smiled, "Of course, it was nice going to the store with you." she said.
As they got close to an alleyway, Koji heard something and turned towards it. Mika turned to Koji, "Something wrong?" she asked; he entered the alleyway, "I think I heard a kitten in here." he said.
Mika entered the alleyway, "Really?" she asked. Koji nodded as he crouched down and looked under the dumpster. As Mika walked towards Koji, he looked at her, "There's a little kitten under the dumpster shivering." he said.
Mika walked towards the dumpster and turned her free arm into an octopus tentacle, "I got this." she said. Mika crouched down and got her octopus tentacle under the dumpster.
When Mika's tentacle got close to the kitten, she lightly wrapped her tentacle around the kitten and pulled it out of the dumpster.
Mika handed the kitten to Koji and turned her arm back to normal, "Do you think it has a home?" she asked. Koji looked at the little kitten, "Possibly, but I don't want to leave it in the rain... it'll get sick or worse." he said.
Mika nodded, "Then, we'll have to find the owner tomorrow." she said, "For now, we'll take it back to the dorms." Koji nodded as they left the alleyway.

When they got back to the dorms, Mika sat on the floor in Koji's room. As Koji finished drying the little kitten, Mika looked at him, "Have you figured out how old the little kitten is?" she asked.
Koji nodded, "She's around twelve weeks old." he said; Mika was shocked, "You can tell the gender as well?" she asked.
Koji nodded, "It's hard to tell the gender difference between kittens at a very young age, but since she's twelve weeks old, it was easier to tell." Mika looked at the kitten, "If she's twelve weeks old, then how come her legs are really short?" she asked.
Koji smiled, "That's because she's a munchkin." he said. Mika tilted her head, "Munchkin?" she asked. Koji rubbed the back of his neck, "That's right... I forgot that you never had a pet before." he said.
Mika nodded; Koji thought of something, "Okay... when you look through your phone on animal pictures, you sometimes see pictures of corgis on your phone, right?" he asked.
Mika nodded, "The munchkin is the cat version of a corgi." Koji continued, "They were bred to have very short legs."
Mika nodded, "I see..." she said as she pulled her phone out, "The abilities of my cat forms would be the same, but I wonder if there's something unique from the munchkin other than it's short legs." Koji smiled a bit and noticed the kitten getting off his lap and walking towards Mika.
Mika looked down and saw the kitten lay on her lap and purring, "She really likes you." Koji said smiling. Mika petted the kitten, "To be honest, it's not that surprising... I've seen something like that before." she said; Koji looked at her, "How so?" he asked.
Mika rubbed the back of her neck, "Well... for some odd reason I have some sort of invisible magnet." she said, "Whenever I pet a dog or a cat for a little bit, they'd always follow me back home. I don't know if it's because of my Quirk or because they wanted more attention."
Mika looked down, "But, I couldn't have a pet in the apartment since it followed a no pets allowed rule." she continued. Koji nodded, "That's understandable, but I don't think I'd want to live in a place where they won't allow animals." he said.
Mika nodded and looked at the time, "It's getting late." she said as she picked the kitten up and handed her to Koji, "We'll need to get up early and find the owner." Koji nodded as he took the kitten, "Good night." he said; Mika smiled, "Good night." she said as she left his room.

Early in the morning, they headed to the library to make copies of found pet fliers. Once they were made, they placed the fliers all around the city. When they finished placing the fliers around the city, they headed to the park and waited for the owner.
As hours passed, Mika laid her head on the tree, "This feels like it's taking too long." she said. Koji sighed and nodded, "It might be best to take her to the shelter." he said.
As they stood up, they heard a voice, "Excuse me." they turned towards the voice and saw a woman with dark blue hair and a young boy wearing a baseball cap.
The woman held one of the fliers out, "Are you the people that posted the fliers around the city?" she asked; Mika nodded, "That's right." she said. Koji nodded as he held the kitten out, "By any chance, are you the owner?" Mika asked.
The woman smiled and nodded, "I am; thank you for finding her." she said as she took the kitten, "I don't know what I would be able to do." Mika smiled a bit and noticed the boy looking at her, "Thank you for finding Suri for us." he said.
Mika smiled as she crouched and held her hand out, "No problem, be good to the kitten." she said. The boy nodded and shook Mika's hand; as he touched her hand, she felt something was wrong.
Mika started feeling dizzy and her vision was getting blurry, "What the..." she said lowly. The woman and Koji looked at Mika, "Is something wrong?" the woman asked.
Mika looked down, "Is it... getting darker...?" she asked; the woman shook her head, "It's still bright even though it's around seventeen." she said.
Mika nodded as her body slowly swayed around, "I see... then this is... the effects of... a Quirk..." she said before she passed out.
Koji's eyes widened, "Mika!" he shouted; he crouched down held Mika in his arms. Koji placed a finger on Mika's wrist and tried to feel a pulse; when he felt a pulse, he sighed in relief.
The woman looked at Koji, "Is she...?" she asked; he turned to her, "She's fine, but she passed out because of your son's Quirk." he said.
The woman was shocked, "My son's... Quirk." she said. Koji stood up while carrying Mika bridal style, and looked at the woman, "Did you know your son had a Quirk?" he asked. The woman shook her head, "The doctor said that there was a chance he was Quirkless."
The woman looked down, "However.... I've recently seen him making some of his friends and the dog pass out when he touches them, and-" when she realized it, her eyes widened and covered her mouth, "His Quirk manifested months ago and I didn't notice it."
Koji looked at the woman, "Do you know how long his friends were unconscious?" he asked. The woman shook her head, "I don't... I'm sorry." she said.
Koji nodded and quickly bowed, "Thank you for telling me this information." he said as he started sprinting back to the dorms. Koji looked at the unconscious Mika, Please, be okay. he thought as he looked forward and continued sprinting.
