The Start of a New Era (Koji Koda x OC)

After the Rescue Mission

Police cars arrived at the abandoned building with Miss Catastrophe in Quirk-restraining handcuffs and special restraining gear. Mika watched as the police officers put Miss Catastrophe in the police car.

Momo looked at Mika, "Good to have you back." she said; she nodded, "Thanks Momo." she said. Mr. Aizawa walked toward the group, "The police will take care of a cover story for tonight." he said. Mr. Aizawa looked at Mika, making her look down with guilt.

Mr. Aizawa turned the other way, "You're under house arrest for one week." he said, surprising the group. Momo looked at Mr. Aizawa, "Is that necessary, Sensei. Mika-" he looked at her, "I'm not putting her under house arrest because of something like this."

Mr. Aizawa looked at Mika, "She has her provisional license, so she was allowed to do something like this if it was necessary." Mr. Aizawa closed his eyes, "This is more of keeping her inside the school, so something like this will never happen again." he continued.

The others looked down, "I'll only allow you three to take responsibility for her notes in normal classes." Mr. Aizawa said, "However, it'll be difficult taking care of her and yourselves."

Mr. Aizawa looked at Mika, "You should be proud that you stopped the villain that ruined your parents' lives." he said, making her look at him, "They're good people and would be proud of you."

As Mr. Aizawa walked toward the police, Mika looked down, "I'm sorry..." she said, making the trio look at her. Mika frowned a bit, "If it weren't for me, you-" Momo placed one of her fingers over Mika's mouth, making her stop, "You don't have to apologize for that."

When Mika looked at Momo, she smiled, "We would do it either way, even if we weren't given the order to." she continued. Mika smiled a bit, "Thank you." she said; after the police were gone, they headed back to the dorms.

(Time Skip)

Early in the morning, Mika was on the co-ed floor in her casual clothes, vacuuming the rug. Ochaco looked at Mika, "I feel kind of bad about this." she said, "You sure you'll be alright on your own?"

Mika smiled and nodded, "It's OK, Ochaco." she said, "Think of it like this... I get to spend some quiet time to myself." Ochaco nodded, "We better get going, Ochaco." Tsuyu said; she nodded before turning to Mika, "We'll see you later." she said.

Mika nodded, "Have fun at your work studies." she said. After some interaction with the others, Mika was alone in the building; she stretched her arms, "Alright, let's get to work." she said. Mika rolled her tank top up and tied it into a knot.

Octopus tentacles came out of Mika's sides, and her arms turned into octopus tentacles, "I could get the job done faster if I do this." she said before grabbing different cleaning tools.

One of Mika's tentacles dusted the high places while a different tentacle cleaned the window. As Mika examined the area, she smiled, If things go smoothly, it'll go much faster than I thought. she thought.

(Small Time Skip)

In the afternoon, the lounge area shined a bit; Mika looked around the area as her tentacles placed the cleaning equipment in the supply closet.

Mika nodded before the tentacles on her sides disappeared and turned her arms back to normal, "All that's left now, other than trash duty, are the dishes in the sink." she said.

Before Mika headed to the kitchen area, her phone was ringing; she pulled her phone out of her and answered it, "Hello." she said. "Hey, sweetheart." Mika heard Saburo's voice on the other line, "How are you?"

Mika rubbed the back of her neck, "I've been better." she said. "I can tell..." Saburo said, "Do you want to talk about it?" Mika took a deep breath before sighing, "How come you didn't tell me the truth about Mom becoming deaf?" she asked.
