The walk toward Mika's home was quiet until they arrived at the front of the apartments. Mika smiled at Koji, "Thanks for walking with me to my place." she said. Koji rubbed his arm with a bashful smile, "I-It was nothing..." he said.
As Mika looked at Koji, she remembered something, "Do you have any other feelings for him?" Mina asked. The thought made Mika blush a bit and look away, surprising Koji, "Is something wrong?" he asked.
Mika shook her head before looking at Koji, "There's something... I'd like to ask you." she said; he was nervous and nodded, "W-What is it?" he asked. As Mika opened her mouth, they heard a different voice, "You're back already, kiddo." they flinched and looked up.
The duo saw Saburo on the apartment balcony next to the stairs, making Koji panic. Mika blushed, "H-How long have you been there!" she shouted. Saburo smiled, "Oh, long enough." he said, "My little girl talking to a boy; I'm happy and scared about this simultaneously."
Mika's face reddened before quickly waving her hands, "I-It's not like that!" she shouted, "H-He's a friend of mine!" Saburo walked toward the stairs, "Is that so..." he said before walking down them.
When Saburo stood on the ground, he turned his head to Koji, "Then, may I ask who you are?" he asked. Koji was shaking in place but looked at Saburo, "H-Hello, Mr. Lyoko." he said before holding his hand out, "M-My name is K-Koji Koda."
Saburo slightly smiled and shook Koji's hand, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Koda." he said, "And please, call me Saburo." Koji nodded as Saburo examined him, making him shake in place, "I've heard a lot about you." he said.
Koji looked at Saburo, shocked, "Y-You have?" he asked. Saburo smiled and nodded, "Don't worry about it, though." he said, making Koji nervous.
Saburo grinned a bit, "Well... since you were nice enough to bring my daughter back home, how about you stay here for dinner?" he asked. Mika sternly looked at Saburo, "Dad..." she said.
Saburo smiled at Mika, "Oh, relax, Mika." he said, "I won't do anything bad to him." Saburo smiled at Koji, "I'd like to know more about Koda since you talk about him a lot." he continued.
Koji nodded, "I-I'm fine with th-that..." he said. Koji pulled his phone out of his pocket, "I-I'll text my Mom th-that I'm staying at a-a friend's house for dinner." he continued.
Saburo shook his head, "No need for that." he said, making the teens look at him, "I did a little background check on you and your family. I called your mother and told her that her son would be with us for a while."
Mika blushed a lot and looked at Saburo, "Dad! Was that necessary!?" she shouted. Saburo laughed as Mika covered her face, embarrassed, while Koji blushed with a bashful smile until they heard a whistle.
The trio looked up and saw Yuma on the balcony, "That's enough, dear; don't embarrass your daughter in front of our guest." she signed. Saburo scratched the back of his head, "Sorry, dear." he said before walking up the stairs, "Let's hurry inside before it gets dark."
Both teens were standing still with blushed faces until Koji turned his head to Mika and held his hand out to the stairs, "L-Ladies first..." he said lowly. Mika nodded, "Thanks." she said before walking up the stairs, making Kouji follow behind her.
Koji was nervous as he entered Mika's home; when he looked around, he noticed it had a comforting atmosphere, relaxing him a bit.
