The Start of a New Era (Koji Koda x OC)

Abrupt

After class, Class 1-A returned to the dorms. Minoru wiped some dust off the window frame and smugly looked at Katsuki, "What's with this dust, Bakugo?" he asked. Katsuki growled when Minoru and Hanta laughed, "Deku was supposed to do that; shut up!" he shouted.

Katsuki turned to Izuku, making him flinch, "Hey! Can't you do something right, you idiot!" he shouted. Izuku quickly nodded, "Right, sorry." he said before sorting the trash. Mika stretched her arms as she and the others got to the co-ed floor, "That was tiring." she said.

Izuku looked at the group, "Hey guys, if you put your trash in the halls, I'll take everything in a second." he said. Mika nodded, "Will do." she said. Koji tapped Mika's shoulder, making her turn to him, "Need something?" she asked.

Koji nodded, "Did you understand the stuff in Ectoplasm-sensei's class?" he signed. Mika rubbed the back of her neck, "I could understand most of the math problems, but it was difficult." she whispered, "If you're having trouble with it, we can study in your room."

Koji nodded as Mika felt a tap on her shoulder. Mika turned to Kyoka and Mashirao, "What's up?" she asked. Kyoka looked at Mika, "It's about the work studies; I didn't get scouted, so I wonder if I'll get to take part in one." she said.

Mika nodded, "Maybe we can go to the areas where we did our internships." she said, "There might be a chance that they'll accept it. Plus, we might get scouted in our second and third years."

Mashirao nodded, "I hope I get to do one." he said; Izuku looked at them in shock, "'In just one day, I've been completely left behind.' That's what you're thinking, right, Mr. House arrest." Tenya said, making the others look at him.

Izuku looked at Tenya, "Hey! Don't call me that, that's mean!" he said, "Um Iida... what's a work-study?" Tenya looked at Izuku, "Something I can't tell you about." he said, "The teachers have forbidden us from telling you any details about classes."

Tenya looked away for a bit, "Sorry, but you must experience the same shock and surprise as we went through." he continued. Tenya turned to Katsuki, "Did you catch that, Bakugo!" he shouted. Katsuki was angry, "Shut up! I heard you four-eyes!" he shouted.

Izuku sighed and gathered the trash; Mika turned to him, "Hey, Midoriya, I got a question for you." she said. Izuku looked at Mika, "What is it?" he asked.

Mika rubbed the back of her neck, "Well... I know it's none of my business, but I was wondering about the fight between you and Bakugo." she said, making Katsuki look at her, "What was your reason for fighting in the first place?"

Izuku panicked a bit, "Oh! Well-" Katsuki stood before him, "It's none of your damn business!" Mika looked at Katsuki, "I get it if it was something personal, but-" he created small explosions in his hands, making her stop, "Will you shut up already!"

Katsuki pointed at Mika, "I don't know how rock-face or anyone in this room can fucking stand you!" he shouted, "You're just as annoying as Deku!"

The room went silent until Tenya looked at Katsuki, "Bakugo! That is not how you should treat Class 1-A's secretary or any of your classmates!" he shouted; he looked at him, "Shut up, four-eyes!" he shouted.

Mika wilted a bit, "A-Annoying..." she said lowly before looking away. Unbeknownst to Mika, Koji grabbed her hand, making her look at him, "Let's go." he whispered before they walked toward the elevator.

Katsuki looked at the couple, "Oh look! It's the annoying animal girl's boyfriend running away-" Koji glared at him, shocking him and making him stop talking, surprising the others, "Why don't you shut up for once in your life."

As the couple entered the elevator, the group stared at it in complete shock, "I didn't think Koda would say or do something like that." Izuku said.

Tenya made a chopping motion with his hand, "Bakugo insulted one of our classmates!" he said, "I would do the same thing if I were him." Ochaco looked at the elevator, "I don't think that's it, Iida." she said.

(Time Skip)

The walk to Koji's room was silent; Mika tried talking to him but stayed silent. When the couple entered the room, Koji let go of Mika's hand and walked toward his desk.

Mika rubbed her arm and looked away, "W-Well... that could've gone a different way, but-" Koji clenched his fists, "He had no right."

Mika looked at Koji, "What?" she asked; she noticed he was shaking in rage, surprising her, "He had no right to say that to you..." he said, "I know Bakugo has the worst personality, but what he said makes me... Ugh!"

Koji punched the wall hard, making Mika jump a bit and waking Yuwai up, "He had no right at all!" he shouted. Mika looked at Koji, "Is he... right, though?" she asked.

Koji froze a bit and turned to Mika; she looked down, "Am I..." she started slowly but stayed quiet. Koji frowned a bit and walked toward Mika.

When Koji was close, he cupped Mika's cheeks with his hands, making her look at him, "Not in a million years." he said, "I always find your voice lovely, and the things you say very soothing."

Mika glanced down, "But... the things Bakugo said-" Koji placed his thumb over her mouth, making her stop.

Koji looked at Mika, "I don't care what that asshole thinks." he said, shocking her, "That's just one person's opinion, not the entire world's opinion. I love you for who you are, Mika, and that's a fact."

Tears pricked Mika's eyes before smiling a bit, "Thank you." she said. Koji wiped the tears off Mika's face with his hands, "No need for that." he said, "I don't like to see you cry."

Mika smiled, "You know... I think that's the first time I've heard you curse." she said. Koji blushed a bit, "Oh God, that just... it slipped out, and... I've heard you curse plenty of times too." he said.

Mika nodded, "I know, and you don't seem bothered with me saying them." she said. Mika playfully grinned, "But hearing it from you sounds like there's not a lot of innocence." she teasingly said.

Koji blushed a lot and covered his face with his hands. Mika giggled a bit before prying Koji's hand off his face, "It can be our little secret, but it'll cost you." she said, "You probably know the payment, right?"

Koji's face was red, and he nodded before bringing his mouth to her lips, leading them to kiss. When the couple separated, Mika smiled, "Now that we got that out of the way, how about we go over the math problems you're having trouble with?" she asked.

Koji smiled, "I-I'd like that." he said. After Mika let go of Koji's hands, they sat at his table. Yuwai got off the bed and hopped toward Mika, making her smile at him, "Hey there, little guy." she said. As Mika held her hand out, Yuwai rubbed his face against her hand, making her coo a bit.

Soon after, Yuwai licked Mika's hand for a bit before lying in her lap. Mika looked at her hand, confused, before looking at Koji, "Hey, Koji." she said; he looked at her, "What is it?" he asked.

Mika looked at Yuwai, "I noticed that your bunny licks me sometimes." she said, "Do you know what that means?" Koji smiled, "It means that Yuwai loves you and trusts you." he said. Mika was surprised, "Is that so?" she said before looking at Yuwai.

Soon after, Mika smiled and petted Yuwai's back, "That's nice." she said. Mika looked at Koji, "Alright, let's see the math problems." she continued. Koji nodded as the couple worked on some math problems until it was time to go to bed.
