Aftermath of USJ

As the duo walked toward the exit, Mika tumbled a bit before standing properly. Mashirao turned his head to Mika, "Are you alright?" he asked; she nodded, "I'll be fine..." she said. Mashirao was worried, "If you don't feel like walking, I can carry you." he said.

Mika shook her head, "It's OK, Ojiro..." she said, "Let's just get to the others." Mashirao nodded as the duo got to the exit; when they got close to the door, he held the door for Mika.

As Mika exited the building and looked forward, her eyes widened, and tears fell down her face. Mashirao looked at Mika, "Are you alri-" when he looked forward, he was terrified, "Oh my God."

The duo looked at the center and saw Mr. Aizawa with broken limbs and blood on his face, held by the villain's creature, and a man covered in hands laughing. Mika dropped to her knees and covered her mouth with tears falling down her face, "This can't be happening..." she said.

Mashirao stood before Mika before crouching and covering the scene with his tail; he placed his hand on her shoulder, "We need to keep moving." he said. Mika looked at Mashirao, "But... Sensei..." she said lowly.

Mashirao nodded, "I know you want to help him, but we need to go, or we'll be in the same predicament." he said. Mika looked forward before slowly nodding and standing up, "OK..." she quietly said before they sneaked away from the scene.

Mika sprouted owl wings on her back before grabbing Mashirao by the waist. Mika flew over the Flood Zone and hid behind the slide before they got to the other end.

As Mika placed Mashirao on the ground and deactivated her wings, they looked at the staircase and saw an angry All Might. Mashirao sighed in relief, "All Might is here." he said before turning to Mika, "We need to get to the staircase."

Mika silently walked past Mashirao, surprising him; when he turned around, she walked toward the staircase with a frown, making him worry before following her.

The duo helped the others as much as possible when they reached the top of the stairs. Some of the students looked at All Might facing the villain's creature; both of them threw punches, but All Might launched it out of USJ.

The villains disappeared when the other teachers arrived, and the nightmare ended. As most of the students left USJ, most were worried about Mr. Aizawa and the others.

However, Mika silently looked down, ignoring the words from her classmates, until she heard a familiar voice, "Mika!" she turned her head to the source and saw Saburo in his police uniform running toward her.

Mika stared at Saburo, "Dad..." she said lowly. When Saburo was close, he hugged Mika, "Are you alright?" he asked. Tears started falling down Mika's face before hugging Saburo tightly as they got on their knees, "I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." she said lowly.

Saburo tried calming Mika down, "It's OK, sweetheart... Daddy's got you..." he said. The detective looked at Saburo before walking toward the duo, "Is she related to you, Commissioner Lyoko?" he asked.

Saburo turned his head to the detective, "She's my daughter, Detective Naomasa." he said. Naomasa nodded before looking at Mika, "I could've stopped it..." she said lowly, "I could've helped Aizawa-sensei, but I didn't... I'm such a coward..."

Naomasa patted Mika's head, making her look at him, "You're not a coward." he said, "What you did was the right thing." Mika looked away, "I could've prevented Aizawa-sensei's long-term vision loss." she said.

Naomasa frowned a bit, "True, but what would happen if you intervened?" he asked, "It would mean that you could've died." Mika looked down, "And you have a loving family." Naomasa continued, "Do you want to leave them?"
