The Start of a New Era (Koji Koda x OC)

Targets, Part 1

The staff handed the examinees their targets and a carrier with six balls inside it. Mika placed her targets on her chest, her upper left arm, and her waist; she heard some noises around the room before looking up.

Mika saw the walls and roof of the building open, revealing a giant field from rocky terrain to a fake city, surprising her, "Please do your best and capitalize on your skills." Mera said as he and the staff left the area.

Mika looked around, "Everyone!" Izuku shouted, making her look at him, "We shouldn't stray too far from the group; we need to stay together and move as a group."

Katsuki walked the other way, "No way, I'm not staying with you losers, I'm outta here." he said. Eijiro turned to Katsuki as he walked up ahead, "Hey, wait up!" he shouted before he and Denki followed him.

Shoto walked in a different direction, "I'm out too... if I'm in a large group, then I can't use my power." he said before running away. Izuku tried getting Katsuki and Shoto back but had no luck.

Mika walked toward Izuku and placed her hand on his shoulder, "We can't waste time, Midoriya." she said, "We've got to move." Izuku turned his head to Mika before nodding, "Right." he said before returning to the group.

The group ran together in the rocky terrain, "I don't like the idea of going alone." Izuku said. Minoru looked at Izuku, "How come?" he asked; he turned his head to him, "Think about it; the world probably knows our moves."

Ochaco looked at Izuku, "You mean..." she said lowly; Tenya looked at him, "Of course, the sports festival." he said. Mika nodded, "Not only did they watch the tournament, they probably watched the race and cavalry battle too." she said.

Izuku nodded, "Exactly." he said, "I have a feeling that this will turn into a school-on-school battle. And which school are they aiming for?" Soon after, the group saw a giant group jump at them, startling them.

Yo grinned, "The nail that sticks out gets hammered down!" he shouted before their group threw their balls at them. Mika turned her arms into squid tentacles, "Not happening." she said before swatting the balls away from the people near her.

Once the balls were away from the group, Mika turned her arms back to normal before transforming into a kitsune hybrid. Izuku looked at the group, "We've got this, guys. Show them what U.A. can do!" he shouted. The group made fighting stances, "Yeah!" they shouted.

Izuku turned his head to Mika, "You can see long distances as a kitsune hybrid, right?" he said, "We need to see who we're up against." Mika smirked and looked forward, "Consider it done." she said.

When Mika concentrated, she saw the Ketsubutsu group, "It's Ms. Joke's second-year class." she said. Mika looked at a hill and saw a guy with blue skin with four hardened balls in his hands, "The blue guy's Quirk allows him to harden objects." she continued.

Mika looked at the guy with long black hair as he made some stances before launching the hardened balls into the ground, making her eyes widen, "The guy with long black hair launched the hardened balls into the ground." she said, "I can't tell where they'll hit."

Some of the group was worried, "Stand back, I got this." Kyoka said as she plugged her earphone jacks into her glove amplifiers. Kyoka placed glove amplifiers on the ground, "Amplifier Jack: Heartbeat Destruction." she said.

As the ground broke, the hardened balls came out of the ground and shot toward Minoru, making him panic. Mina raised her arm as acid covered it, "Maximize acid strength and viscosity, Acid Veil." she said before throwing the acid at the hardened balls, melting them.

Mika looked at Yo as he placed his hand on the ground, "Guys, one of them is-" the ground rumbled under their feet before it started breaking, shocking the group, "Maximum Force: Tremoring Earth!"
