Disaster Training, Part 1

In the afternoon, everyone was in class looking at Mr. Aizawa as they continued their intensive training, "Most years, the provisional license exam includes a section on disaster rescue." he said, "So today..."

They saw a hologram of two group lists, "We'll split the class in two teams of ten and have a training based on something similar to what will be on the exam." Mr. Aizawa continued.

Mika looked at her name and saw that she was on Team B, "Team B, huh..." she said lowly. Mina smiled and looked at Mika and Kyoka, "Mika, Kyoka, we're on the same team; let's do our best!" she shouted; Mr. Aizawa glared at her, making her flinch. Kyoka nodded, "Let's do it." she said.

Rikido smiled, "Aw yeah, let's do this." he said. Mezo closed his eyes, "I look forward to working with my group." he said; Koji nodded in agreement.

Minoru drooled a bit, "I get to be with two hot babes; this is awesome." he said. Hanta glared at Minoru, "Not gonna happen scumbag." he said. Mashirao nodded, "Plus, one of them is dating... so she's off limits." he said. Yuga had his signature smile, "It's time for moi to shine." he said.

Mr. Aizawa looked at them, "Now then, we will begin the rescue training." he said, "Everyone change into your costumes immediately and go to Ground Beta." he said. They nodded, "Yes sir!" they shouted as they got their hero cases and left the classroom.

(Time Skip)

After they changed into their hero costumes, Team B stood at one of the testing areas. Mika looked at her arm sleeves, This'll be my first time using my new equipment. she thought as she clenched her fists, I'll use them well.

Mika turned to the others, "Everyone, listen up!" she said, making the others turn to her, "Before we can begin, we need to assign someone as leader of this group. Does anyone have any suggestions?"

Minoru raised his hand, "I want to be leader so all the ladies can-" he was interrupted when Hanta covered his face with tape, "Nope; not happening."

Yuga raised his hand, "Let moi be leader; don't I look like the perfect fit for it." he said. Mashirao got nervous, "Unfortunately, no." he said.

Mezo formed a mouth with one of his dupli-arms, "I vote that Lyoko should be the leader." he said. Rikido smiled, "Yeah, she's definitely fit for leader material." he said.

Mina smiled, "All in favor of having Mika as leader, say 'I' or raise your hand!" she shouted. Koji, Yuga, and Minoru raised their hand while the rest said 'I'. Mika nodded, "Alright then, I'll be the leader." she said, "Now then, we should get started."

Mika held a device out and pressed a button on it, revealing an underground building hologram, "Two hours ago, a fire broke out on the bottom floor of a large underground shopping mall." she continued, "The fire has been put out and the people inside have been evacuated."

Mika looked at them, "However, we received word that somewhere in this underground mall, there is one person who needs to be rescued." she said, "Our mission is to rescue that person as quickly as possible."

Mashirao looked at the hologram, "The person in the building is a rescue dummy, correct?" he asked. Mika nodded, "That's right." she said, "And the power is out because of the fire. Luckily, the emergency power should be working."

Mina smiled, "So we can search the building even without light." she said. Mezo nodded, "Searching for someone in there will be a race against time." he said, "The best thing to do is split up."
