Quirk Apprehension Test

Last Chapter: Mika looked at Mr. Aizawa as he pulled his hair back with a devious grin, "Your fates are in our hands." he said, "This is the hero course of U.A. High."

The students were given five minutes to stretch and do what they could to get energized. As Mika examined her classmates from a distance, she noticed that some of them were calm, It seems like those who are calm may know that the expulsion is a scare tactic. she thought.

Mika looked at the others who were scared, However, it's also possible that they believe him. she thought, I'll have to go along with it. When Mika looked at Izuku, she noticed he was mumbling about an egg and a microwave.

Mika was worried, Why is he saying weird stuff? she thought before walking toward Izuku. Mika tapped Izuku's shoulder, making him flinch and back away, "Hey, Midoriya, are you alright?" she asked.

When Izuku turned around and saw Mika, he calmed down and fiddled with his fingers, "O-Oh, sorry." he said, "I'm so nervous that I'm saying weird stuff."

Mika nodded, "You were saying stuff about an egg and a microwave. What kind of stuff like that has to do with your Quirk training?" she asked. Izuku panicked, "N-Nothing!" he shouted before blushing a lot, "I-It's a pep talk."

Mika stared at Izuku before sighing, "Whatever floats your boat, I guess..." she said, "Try not to panic too much, though, alright?" Izuku looked at the ground, "I'll try..." he said lowly. Mika smiled and patted Izuku's head before walking away.

When Mika reached the other students, she noticed that Koji was shaking a lot. Mika slowly reached out to Koji's hand before stopping and holding his wrist instead, "Are you scared that you might wound up in last place?" she asked.

Koji turned his head to Mika before nodding, "It's alright; I'm kind of nervous too, but I believe you'll be fine." she soothingly said.

Koji slightly smiled, but it was short-lived when Mr. Aizawa blew his whistle, making Mika let go, and the students looked forward, "All right, let's get this over with." he said.

Mr. Aizawa looked at his clipboard, "Iida and Lyoko, you two are first for our 50-meter dash." he continued, making Mika flinch. Mika took a deep breath and exhaled before walking toward the starting line.

Mika could hear her other classmates talking, "Who do you think will win?" one of them asked. "Probably Iida... have you seen his legs?" another one said.

Mika glanced at Tenya's legs and noticed exhaust pipes in his calves, So those exhaust pipes are part of Iida's Quirk. she thought before they got to the starting line, Then, I'll activate mine as well.

When Mika and Tenya got into position, she activated her cheetah's speed ability. The duo on the starting line looked forward, "On your mark..." the machine said, "Get set... Go."

Mika and Tenya sprinted at similar speeds before crossing the line, "3.04 seconds." the machine at the finish line said, making most of their mouths drop.

Mr. Aizawa wrote the information on his clipboard before looking at the duo, "Impressive." he said, "No surprise that Iida was fast with his Quirk on this test, and I'm not surprised when I saw you."

Mr. Aizawa turned his head to Mika, making her nervous, "I guess you activated your Quirk for this part of the test." he continued. Mika calmed down and looked at Mr. Aizawa, "Yes, sir, and I plan on using my Quirk for the other tests, too." she said.

Mr. Aizawa deviously grinned, "I like your determination, but how long do you think that might last?" he said. Mika gulped at Mr. Aizawa's intimidating aura, He's trying to get to you... she thought, Don't let him get in your head.
