The Start of a New Era (Koji Koda x OC)

Birthday Special #5: Beach Day

A/N: Slight spoilers to those who don't read the manga at the end; I hope you enjoy the birthday special.

On a Saturday evening, Izuku and Koji walked on the sidewalks. Izuku turned to Koji, "Hopefully, this place I suggested would be an okay place for you and the others." he said. Koji nodded and looked forward, Either way, this'll mark down one of the places she visited. he thought.

(Flashback Begins)

At night, the boys' elevator doors opened, and Koji walked out of them. As Koji entered the kitchen and grabbed a healthy snack out of the fridge, he heard a voice, "Hey, Koda!" he jumped a bit and turned toward the voice.

Koji saw most girls sitting in the lounge area, "We need your help on something." Mina said. Koji nodded as he walked into the lounge area, "Do you know what day is next Sunday?" Momo asked. Koji nodded, "August thirteenth; Mika's birthday. "he signed.

Momo nodded, "Then this'll make things easier." she said, "We're making plans on Mika's birthday. We already asked Sato if he could make a cake for her, and he agreed to make one." Kyoka wrapped her arms, "The issue we got is the location of the party." she said.

Ochaco nodded, "We thought having the party here would be kind of basic and boring." she said, "We wanted to ask you if you could ask Mika about the locations she hasn't been to."

Koji stared at them, "You're wondering if there's a catch to this." Tsuyu said, making him jump a bit, "There's no catch at all; we just want to make it an amazing party for Mika."

Koji thought about it and nodded, making the girls smile, "Thank you so much." Momo said. Koji nodded as he walked towards the girls' elevator and entered.

As Koji got on the third floor on the girls' side, he walked towards Mika's room. As Koji stopped at Mika's door, he knocked on it, "Come in." Mika said.

As Koji opened the door, he saw Mika playing a relic golem monster fighting against goblins on TV. Mika paused the game and turned to Koji, "Heya, what brings you here?" she asked.

Koji closed the door behind him and looked at the TV screen; he turned to Mika, "Oh, the game? It's an early birthday present my parents bought me." she said, "Even though they're a few years old, it's the first non-violent beat 'em up game I like a lot."

Mika placed her right elbow on the table and her cheek in her right palm, "Now then, what brings you here?" she asked. Koji sat across from Mika and rubbed the back of his neck, "W-Well... I wanted to ask you something." he said.

Mika nodded, "Go on." she said; after some time, she was surprised, "Places I've never been to." she said. Koji nodded, "That's a bit blunt there; how come you want to know so badly?"

Mika asked. Koji got nervous and looked away, "Would you believe if I said to know you more?" he asked. Mika shook her head, making Koji sigh, "The girls are on the co-ed floor planning your birthday party." he continued.

Mika looked at Koji, "Is that so? And they want to know places I haven't been to so we can do it at the said area." she said. Koji nodded, making Mika sigh a bit, "Well... if I'm honest, there are a lot of places I'd like to go, but it would probably be impossible." she said.

Koji nodded, "Maybe..." he said lowly; Mika thought of something, making her punch her right palm vertically, "Oh! I know a place that is possible here." she said.

Koji looked at Mika, "What's that?" he asked; she turned to him, "The beach; this place has one, right?" she said, "It'll be perfect for a summer day."

Koji thought about it, "I think it does... I'd need someone that lives in Shizuoka to show the beach and see if it'll work." he said.

Mika smiled and thought of something, "The second game has a multiplayer mode." she said as she grabbed the other controller, "I could use a player two..."
