I just know you guys expected me to be here. And most guessed my name last time. If you didn't, I'm Eos, goddess of Dawn. No, I'm not about to give Percy a blessing that gives him more power. But I should be meeting him soon to help him out (according to the indecisive thirteen-year-old author) and if you guys figured out that third voice in Percy's head that has been helping him out since Goruk, the author is going to give you a cookie! Not a real one... And if you don't like cookies... I can't even comprehend that... I'm leaving... (A/N I think I broke the Dawn goddess. Whoops.)

"Maelstrom, halt!" Clarisse's poorly disguised voice rang out. Maybe it would've been a decent disguise to anyone who hadn't ever heard her voice before, but then again, what was the point if getting a disguise then?
Percy recognized her immediately, but said nothing. "Don't," Percy said sharply to the clone who was about to raise his hand. He froze, and slowly began to bring his hand back to his side. Randel. The only confirmation that Randel had heard was his presence leaving his head and the clone that had appeared straightened.
Percy, with a small Melody hidden protectively in his cloak and her thick shoes the only thing visible, brought her closer, not wanting to fight. "You have a child?" Travis asked, again with the awful voice disguising. Percy hoped they didn't pay for that because it was a waste of money. No, I don't have a child, I have Voldemort's nose. Percy thought incredulously.
"Ha!" Randel exclaimed loudly. His voice sounded just like the Randel in his head, not his own voice even though Randel was currently inhabiting a clone of Percy. Percy didn't answer, instead his eyes connected to the figure standing beside Zanthos.
Then Percy came to a realization that 'Zanthos' sounded something a superhero P.J. liked at home. 'Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos' except, it's Zanthos rather than Zinthos. Interesting. Thinking of Earth, he wondered how Grover was doing. Have Piper and Jason had any kids? How about Hazel and Frank? How's his younger siblings? Did Calypso have kids with...
...LEO??
"Assassin!" Travis called. Oh yeah, Percy was talking about something else. "Hmm?" Percy said, uninterestedly.
Randel shot into action, catching something sharp and shiny that came hurling towards Percy. "Well that wasn't very nice," Percy said matter a factly, looking right at the one who threw the dagger. The figure next to Zanthos. The person next to Zanthos.
"I knew you wouldn't get hit." The figure said, shrugging his shoulders. "Ah, Castellan, you're still alive and kicking I see," Percy said, knowingly revealing a piece of information about himself. "Huh. Should I know you?" Luke asked, stepping forward. "Yes, actually," Percy said. "So, did Chaos send his lackey's again or am I dealing with the real deal here?" Percy said, messing with Clarisse's anger in the process.
"We're the best military force Chaos has got," Clarisse said. "Calm down. Who are the other two Maelstrom?" Travis asked, talking to Clarisse at first. "Just a few friends of mine," Percy said, gesturing to the clone and Randel. Randel was twirling the knife with his long claws, before tossing it to Percy who swiftly avoided catching it with his face. "Loyalty! Carrying a kid here!" Percy yelled whispered at him. Randel chuckled, a weird growling sound coming from underneath his hood.
"A little more detail Assassin," Luke said threateningly. Percy was confused. He could almost swear that Luke knew that Maelstrom was actually Percy. They had seen each other on Elvin Seis, or at least Percy had assumed it was him.
Why he gotta be so rude?
"You, carry her," Percy said, not yet having named the clone. The clone obediently took Melody's small body into his arms and hid her inside of his cloak. "So... Our lord and savior Chaos sent his lackeys- or his best military force, depends on how you look at it- to catch three people. You guys are all powerful but you need all of you to catch three people. And a little girl who is currently dreaming about... things little girls dream about. To be honest, I expected more." Percy said, shrugging.
"Please, I'll handle him," Luke said, and with that, he stepped towards Percy. Percy was ready, but Randel beat him to it. "I doubt you'll be able to get through me." Randel snarled savagely, unsheathing his claws from his cloak. "You must be the so-called Loyalty. Chaos suspected you to be in cahoots with Maelstrom." Katie said. Percy sighed. The weird thing they were doing with their voices and their covered faces did nothing to hide who they were from Percy.
"I don't give a damn who you are, Chaos wants Maelstrom, I could care less if you make it off this planet alive or not," Luke said. "Enough talking. Retrieve the assassin of the former King of Goruk, and leave. We thank the forces of Planet Dray for standing strong against these fiends." Zanthos said, addressing everyone listening.
Rude.
Luke attacked, and Randel, or Loyalty, apparently, met his weapon with his hands and while the bled, he didn't seem to be affected. He looked at his own hands and saw that they too were oozing with blood now, but he felt no pain.
"It's time to end your game, Maelstrom. That will bring the best results." Will said. They had surrounded him, all of his old friends. Randel was entertaining Luke, and his clone was currently torturing Zanthos through blood bending or whatever he does, and keeping Melody safe.
Percy didn't have a weapon, he never really did, and he was careful for the few times he pulled out Riptide. "But we haven't even done anything. This is the first time you've seen me since we even started playing." Percy pointed out, squeezing his bleeding hands into fists, gathering the blood. His blood did burn still, right?
Either way, he threw two handfuls of boiling blood at Travis and Katie, then froze his arm as it collided with Clarisse's battle spear. Percy decided that the spear looked cool, and since Clarisse, no doubt had more weapons, he ripped it from her grip. Travis had caught all of the blood before it reached Katie, and he was on the ground, screaming and cursing in dozens of languages.
Will was tending to him, but nothing he did seemed to work. Percy made a spear of ice, one that mirrored Clarisse's, to pin Katie. Percy held Clarisse at bay with her own spear, and at the sound of his brother's screams, Luke turned and took his eyes off of Randel. Randel then gained the upper hand and had him on the ground. The sounds of Zanthos' screams of pain suddenly grew louder as the clone closed his hand. "Stop it, both of you," Percy said, his eyes never leaving the screaming Travis.
Randel halted from tearing Luke apart, and the clone froze, his hand only a faction on an inch from closing. "You will not be able to heal him without removing the blood," Percy informed them. Clarisse's eyes widened. "That's...blood?"
"I remove the blood myself, as I doubt anyone of you has the knowledge of removing something which is practically acid while it's burning through someone's body, and in return, you leave me and my, er, brothers alone," Percy said.
To prove his point, he jerked his head up, and the blood raised from Travis' body. He stopped screaming, but it was very obvious that he was still in pain. The blood still lingered over Travis' body, but it wasn't making any contact with his skin.
Katie was understandably angry, and she was about to raise an attack on Percy, but Percy stopped her by saying, "I can still drop it." It was an empty threat; he was horrified that he had caused Travis so much pain, but his bluff had enough power that they agreed. "Drop him damn it." Percy snapped at the clone, who opened his hand completely and Zanthos fell to the ground, breathing heavily with shaking shoulders.
They transported away, disappearing in brilliant beams of light. Luke was the last to go, and Percy stopped him.
"Wait," Percy said. Luke glared at him, his eyes filled with anger and hate. Percy could feel it, even with his face hidden from view. Percy handed the son of Hermes Clarisse's spear. Luke scoffed as he grabbed hold of it and disappeared in light.
Percy held his head in his hands, questioning what was wrong with him. Hate and anger. Percy deserved it. Hell, he even felt it towards himself right about now.
And that's a wrap. What did ya think?
And yeah, I was mean to do that cliffhanger on the last chapter, and I'd say sorry but your reactions were priceless 💀💀
Well, until next time,
