"The Face of Deception Part 2, Chapter 10"
At the AJ Hotel—Jax and Lona were having breakfast together.
"Lona, what's wrong?" "Sorry I've been quiet this morning. Mom got some bad news." "What's wrong with your mother?" "Mom found out she's pregnant and has liver disease, and she doesn't want to fight for herself until the baby is born." "I'm sorry, but I'm not surprised. Your mother always put you children first. When she was pregnant with you, it was risky; she had to stay in bed most of the time." "I didn't know." "Your mother didn't want to lose you." "I'm glad." "Me too. I know this is going to be different and hard, but your mother needs your support." "Yes, I will. I just can't lose her." "I know."
At Skye/Lorenzo-Lorenzo and Skye were having breakfast with Tea and Lila Rae.
"Tea, what are your plans in this town?" "I'm going to look for a job as a lawyer, maybe assistant DA or something." "Nice, Ric Lansing is our DA." They meet. "Lorenzo," look at Tea as the maid brings in flowers... "Lorenzo, you didn't have to." "I didn't, sorry." "Oh, who are the flowers for?" "Ms. Lila Rae." Lila Rae stands up and takes the flowers. "Who's it from?" Lila Rae reads the card... "It's from Spencer Cassadine. We had a drink the other day." "Cassadine," Lorenzo gets up... "Lila Rae, the Cassadines are a dangerous family." "As dangerous as you are?" "Daddy, I'm an adult. If I want to see him, I will. You need to learn that it's my life, not yours." Lila Rae leaves. Skye gets up. "Lorenzo, Lila Rae is right. You need to give her space and let her live her own life. If you don't want to fight with Lila Rae anymore, you will back off." "I just want to protect her." "I know, but Lila Rae is an adult." "The Cassadine—" "I know. Now I have a doctor's appointment. Will you go with me?" "Yes, let's go." "I need to go by myself." They leave.
At the Quartermaine mansion-Monica was on the phone. "Harrison, I'm not sure if I can make it tonight. Thanks for understanding, Harrison." She hangs up as Tracy enters.
"Who's Harrison?" "A doctor at the hospital." "Are you dating him?" "We've gone out a couple of times. But that's it." "Monica, you have the right to move on." "It's just hard; no one will be like Alan." "No."
