Third Person
At the end of Winter's gym class, she went to change and meet Hayes to go to lunch together.
To be honest, she thought a lot about trying to make amends with Lee, but then the first two times they tried to talk appeared in her mind. Sadly, both evidently brought nothing.
Aside from the conflict at home, she was also hurting from her broken friendship. She felt used, betrayed and left. Of course, she had Hayes, Ariadne, Alyssa and Alex and she was more than thankful for them but Lee was a major part in her life too, the other ones also yet them not being friends anymore relieved Winter enormously for some kind of way.
So she decided to try to speak with her for the third time, with a little more luck this time maybe. Exiting the locker room, she caught sight of her boyfriend leaning against the wall opposite the door she just left from.
"Hey, princesa."
"Hi,"
"Shall we go?" he asked, sensing something wasn't right. She was anxious, and he noticed.
Winter shook her head, "I need to do something you go ahead and get food, I won't be long." she exclaimed, murmuring the last few words.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah!"
"I don't want to but you seem to really need this so please text if anything happens okay? And come straight to the cafeteria. I'm giving you twenty minutes before I come for you."
She nodded, "Alright, see you soon!"
"Of course..." he acknowledged, but she was already down the hallway.
It was Monday and since Lee didn't share the same class as her, Winter headed to the art classroom hoping that Lee hadn't left for lunch yet. And to her luck, the moment she arrived at the room it was deserted already but when she turned she could make out Lee's slight pudgy figure walking in the direction of the cafeteria with two other familiar girls.
"Lee!" she exclaimed making them halt.
"Yes?"
Winter caught up to them earning a disapproving look though she didn't care,
"Can we talk?""If we have to, " Lee responded, annoyed.
"I'll catch up to you guys."A few seconds later they were alone, undisturbed.
"Look we tried talking before it didn't function there's nothing more to discuss I think, " she started wanting to get back to her friends.
"You know we spoke and things were good for a few days but then we just went back to before and it's okay. Just know that I am not a freaking dog, I don't run after people who give me the feeling they are not worth being chased."
Lee only nodded sucking her teeth and not exactly giving a frick.
She shook her head uttering "This was useless."
With that, Winter was off and on to lunch, she needed a bit of solace from her boyfriend, man she thought I think I'm a bit needy.
All eyes were on her when she opened the doors to the cafeteria, slowly but surely it was getting on her nerves.
Fortunately, Hayes had bought her food already which made her more than happy. The chair scraped against the floor loudly as she took a seat next to him.
