Chapter 28

Winter

The men were still eating when we finished,
"I'm going to lay down again, I'm not feeling well." Alessia stood up and faltered out of the room, "I'll join her." I declared.

They didn't comment so I just followed after her.

"Alessia wait up!"

She turned around smiling exhausted, "Hey,"

"Would you mind if I joined you?"

"No of course not."

That being said we made our way up the stairs to the room Alessia had slept in, with Kaden.
When I was getting ready earlier Hayes told me that he had slept with her in his bedroom, I felt sorry for Alessia I didn't want her to feel as sad as she felt.

Lazily, we both plopped down on the enormous bed that was definitely bigger than a king-sized one, "I feel like crying honestly." She blurted out in the silence we remained in.

"It's normal I guess I would have been crying also so no worries, I can leave if you want me to?"

Alessia shook her head, "No stay please."

"You sure?" I asked, not wanting to make her feel any more uncomfortable, "Yeah."

We talked more, discovering more about the other trying to suppress the topic of being here and the complex situation she was in.

Sometime after though we must've fallen asleep not noticing how tired we actually were until we were woken up by the men shaking us awake, I looked at the right moment to Alessia as I saw her flinch away the second she recognized Kaden.

I punched Hayes's chest, grumpy,
"Why'd you wake us? I had such a good dream about-" I cut myself off my ears burning bright red.

His brows quirked up as he smirked, "What did you dream about? Oh, and it's four in the afternoon."

"Nothing!" I replied way too fast, before I realized- "WE SLEPT FOR FIVE HOURS?!"

Alessia, to my right, nodded "It was one great of a sleep though."

"We are all going out for dinner at six-thirty so be ready," Kaden announced for the first time speaking now.

She kept her eyes off of him, everybody could see that, but the way he stared at her I'm just not sure.

"Come on Ale we'll get ready together."

Alessia's face flushed with relief, "That would be awesome."

So once again we left the guys and probed our way around the house searching for my room, turns out it was the one on the left side of the master bedroom also known as the room we had spent the last six and a half hours in.

"So I have Make-up and stuff here you can pick something of mine if you want to but I didn't bring that much," I laughed infecting her with laughter too.

"I'll get my stuff too after we shower, I-I mean not together I- that would be weird."

We broke into giggles once more then decided that since the bathroom was quite big and had a stand-in shower and a tub with a showerhead we would just split and go at the same time, there was a wall between the showers anyway.

"I haven't done this in a long time, you know getting ready with a friend and stuff," Alessia sighed beside me in front of the second sink.

"Look, I know that you don't want to be here Alessia, I know that you want to go home and I know that you don't know how to get out of this predicament but honestly I believe that after what Hayes told me he won't let you go so we're going to make you look smoking I mean might as well enjoy yourself?!"
