Chapitre 28 - Amour

Seoul | 2018

It's the weekend again, but Chaeyoung has to work for another client, with another team. Mina is home, finally, for the first time in her life, she could enjoy being home on the weekend. Chaeyoung said to her that she should do everything that she couldn't do in the weekend before. 

Chaeyoung went to the office at 9 am. Mina is still asleep, she let Mina wake up early since the weekend and she got nothing to do.

At 10.30 Mina then finally get up. She looks around, it was too peaceful, she could see the sun enter the bedroom, she stretches her body, it's been years since she woke up late like this. She then looks at Chaeyoung's side, she left a sticky note on her pillow.

I have a meeting with Oreo team, I made you breakfast (or brunch if you wake up pass 10), I'll be done by afternoon and promise will spend the time with you, how about dinner outside? Hehehe -CY

Mina could only laugh at the notes. Mina then goes outside, she could see that Chaeyoung is indeed left her a breakfast.

Then her phone ring.

"Mina?"

She picks up the phone.

"Hello? Ya, do you miss me so bad that you phone me?" Mina said it, tease her.

"Well, yeah, can't wait to go home. But Mina, please help me?"

"Oh, what?"

"Can you go to my study? I am sorry for disturbing you"

"Ah, it's alright"

Mina head to Chaeyoung's study. It's so neat. Mina never enters this room before.

"Do you see the wooden rack at the left?"

"Yes"

"On the second shelf, there's a blue case file there"

"Wait a minute"

She opens the shelf, but there's nothing inside. She tries all the 4 shelves, starts from the bottom. She opens it and finds a blue box inside the shelf, she opens it. There's Chaeyoung and Gabriel's photo in it. She's about to fully open the box.

"Mina?"

"Ah yes yes" She then opens the third shelf, and there, it's one the third.

"Oreo's digital marketing plan, right?"

"Yeah that's right"

"Do you want me to deliver it there?"

"No, no, I will send courier there, just give him the file"

"Okay then"

"Enjoy your weekend Mrs. Myoui, I will be back soon"

"Alright, Director-nim"

Mina then hangs up. She looks up again at the fourth shelf. Her curiosity becomes bigger, she then pulls the shelf open, and take the blue box out.

"I think that's all for today, we would hear again from Mingyu regarding the presentation time. You all should enjoy the weekend, that's it!" Chaeyoung wraps up the meeting at 5 pm. 

"Oh looks like someone has a plan for the weekend" Tzuyu then tease her while tidying up her laptop.

"Yes, Ms. Chou, my lady is waiting for me"

Tzuyu laugh.

"Chaeyoung-ah, I never see this side of you, you could give us heart attack you know?"
