Chapitre 21 - Rejeté

Minseo is actually confused now. She just made a big decision in her life. To be separated from her sister. Minseo was so mad to actually come out with the idea. Because of her sister, she needed to break up with her boyfriend, she didn't know how to face him. Since her parents died, her sister took care of her, did everything she could for her. Minseo knows how her sister worked multiple jobs for her, even when she also went to school back then. Minseo knows perfectly how her sister always argued with the thugs and got beaten in the end. Her sister would protect her at all cost. But she can't forgive her now. She felt betrayed just now, she even feels disgusted towards her own sister. Minseo soon moved out to her dorm. Though Minseo is a scholarship student, they don't cover her living expenses, only the tuition. Minseo needs to work part-time while studying, in the end, for her day-to-day expenses. Minseo leads a double life, after her classes she needs to rush to her part time job. Sometimes she even feels sleepy at the morning class. But she's a diligent student, she needs to keep up.

Because of her and her sister situation, she became skeptical. She was a nice little girfl, but Minseo feels that her sister ruined her life. Minseo often slept at the class, especially in the extra class, like today.

"Myoui Minseo"

Minseo doesn't respond.

Sure, she's in a deep sleep.

"Myoui Minseo-ssi" A girl from her class then poke her before she goes. She then wakes up and surprises that the class is over.

"Myoui Minseo, a word please" The Teaching Assistant then calls for her. She tidies up her books and goes to him.

It's Mr. Kim Yugyeom. He's an associate professor here at this department. A Teaching Assistant to Professor Yoo as well. He himself is a great Marketer. German graduate got his MBA at Oxford, and his last portfolio is a Marketing Manager of IKEA at the HQ, Sweden until he got transferred back her to runs IKEA Korea. At the same time, he has a passion for Teaching. He's now in his last year on his Ph.D. program. Professor Yoo is her promotor, while he finished her dissertation, she helped to teach at the university as well. Everyone admires him on the campus because he seems capable to have both academic and practitioner life. He's also handsome, they all know Yugyeom in the College of Economics. He's smart, sexy, handsome, single. A whole package.

"Minseo -ssi, you can't do this to my class, every time you're here, you just fell asleep as if my class was your bedroom. Clearly, you think that my class isn't important as Professor Yoo's class, aren't you?"

"I am sorry, Mr. Kim"

"I know, that even though you slept you still got the best marks, I know, but sometimes you gotta respect your friends here and me"

Minseo takes a big gulp and saying sorry once again.

"I worked part-time until after midnight, Mr. Kim, I am sorry that sometimes I slept in your class, I am sorry"

"I need to grade you on the participatory component, Minseo -ssi, and now you have zero, you're in the 3rd year already, you need to be careful"

Minseo could only silent and scratch her head.

"Look, you're the scholarship recipient, right?"

Minseo nods.

"You need to keep up the good grades above 3.5 right?" Minseo nods again.

"How about this, as scholarship recipient, I believe you have a good communication to the administration building, try to move to the night class then"
