Chapitre 30 - Heureux

Seoul | 2018 

Today ADjective team visit GAKU for new product inspection. Mingyu, Tzuyu, Chaeyoung, Eunsoo, Woojin and Mina, all of them go to Gyeonggi-do. They go in 2 cars. They are greeted by the BOD since ADjective always makes a successful campaign, all the ADjective employees are getting a very good treatment even from the CEO himself. They always greeted them wherever they come to the store, even though after that Yugyeom and team will take them around the building.

Upon seeing Yugyeom, Mingyu immediately comes to him.

"Mr. Kim, are we good?"

Yugyeom smile lightly to him, "Yeah, of course, I am sorry I was drunk"

Mingyu nods, "Well, I am sorry for not being sorry tho, I don't like when a man grabs a collar to a woman, I was out of control, I admit and especially it's Chaeyong, one of my partners"

"I get it, Mr. Lee. I understand "

They both nod to each other. Tzuyu could only smile to Mingyu's behavior. Tzuyu knows it well why Mingyu acted like that. When he was a little, he had to witness his dad beat up her mom in front of him. After that, he swore to himself that he would never put a hand to a woman.

Yugyeom still cold to the couple, for him, it's better that he ignores it. Minseo is also there. Still avoiding looking at her sister in the eye. They all walk together to the warehouse to take a look at the new product. GAKU just imported a new item from Sweden, really cool pieces. The Korean team currently make the product to be more suitable to be sold here.

They about to end the tour and go home.

"You guys head first, don't wait for me, I would like to talk to my sister"

"But........." Chaeyoung cuts her.

"I'll be fine, go home" Mina orders her.

Tzuyu and Mingyu then pull Chaeyoung.

"Let's go Chaeyoung-ah, she'll be fine" 

Mina is on the building again looking for Minseo. GAKU is about to end their office hour. Mina the passes the cafeteria, and see that Minseo is outside the canteen, smoking.

Mina then goes out from the door, and see her.

Minseo is immediately put her cigarette down and about to leave the place.

"Minseo-ya, please"

Mina begs her. Minseo stops from walking.

"Please, I beg you"

They both then enter the caféteria. It's all quiet since all the employees are now going home.

"I think you misunderstood the situation, between me and Yugyeom Oppa"'

Mina takes a deep and long breath. 

"Yes, he helped me a lot, he helped me in everything. After you left, I quit the job and working part-time jobs like crazy again. You were right, I shouldn't do that to you. All things felt wrong and I am still repenting my sins up until now. I worked near Yonsei that time and Yugyeom Oppa was the lecturer there, he lived across the mini market I worked. He always saw me in a night shift, reading a literature book. And after that, he provided me with books, ordered me to read more books. Then he came with Yondae application form, scholarship one, even though I knew I didn't have the capability to try, I tried it anyway. But miraculously I got in. I hesitated that I had to spend my time studying while I needed to make money as well. He's been my rocks ever since, he helped me have a job at the campus so that I could have part-time jobs at night, made it possible to do both. I owed him that much, but that's it. We are never more than that. He's my 'daddy long legs', that's it"
