Mina would like to say no, but she looks at Chaeyoung in the eyes.
This woman is desperate. Mina also can't resist her.
She misses her as well.
Mina gives her a slight smile to her.
"I am hungry, can we please eat something?" Mina then asks Chaeyoung.
"Okay" Chaeyoung replies it. She's smiling from ear to ear.
Her dimples show.
They both head to the car, Chaeyoung then drives again to the city center. Chaeyoung makes a stop to a supermarket near Haeundae.
"Chaeyoung-ah are you broke?" Mina asks her.
"No I am loaded, Why?"
"Cocky" Mina smirk, "Then how come you take me to food stalls for a dinner?"
Chaeyoung then sees food stalls around the market.
Chaeyoung laugh.
"No, we're here to shop some ingredients. I miss home cook, especially your cook, so please cook for my dinner at my home"
Mina can even say anything as she amazed with her request.
Half sulky.
"Really? You.........."
"Come on" Before she protests, Chaeyoung holds her hand to enter the mart.
Mina then starts to pick up the ingredients, while Chaeyoung helps her pushing the shopping cart. It is indeed like the old time, them having a grocery date.
Mina will cook for Chaeyoung.
They head back home. It's been years since the last time Mina visited her house in Busan. It doesn't change at all. They own a private elevator that could take them directly to the 37th floor. Son's condominium. Both enter the house and greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Kim who's about to head out.
"Oh Ahjumma, Ahjussi!" Chaeyoung greets.
"Chaeyoung-ah, I thought you're going back to Seoul already"
"No, tomorrow, perhaps"
Mr. and Mrs. Kim then look at the women beside her.
"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Kim"
"Oh, Mina-ssi, long time no see," Mr. Kim says to Mina
"Do you guys want to go out?" Chaeyoung asks.
"Chaeyoung, I am sorry, we didn't know that you're home, I should've cooked for you"
"Ahjumma, that's fine. We're about to cook for all of us. I didn't know you'll go out"
"Dahyun-nie is in town for a meeting since Friday. But she's so busy but she has time now before she heading back to Daejeon" Mr. Kim explains.
"Dahyun-nie's here? Wow, I miss her a lot. Oh then, please........." She then opens her wallet and takes out her card, "Please use this for your dinner"
"Chaeyoung-ah, no need. Your parents always send money to us, that's fine" Mrs. Kim refuse it.
"I know, but please. I would like to meet her as well, but I can't. Kim Dahyun is my friend, Ahjumma. This is the least that I could do, please use this"
