A/N: This chapter and probably the next chapter is an overview of Aiko and Jackie's life, way back 2 years and 8 months to be exact. Hope you like it.

--- Jackie Point of View------

It had been four months now since I met Aiko on the bench park that evening. For the past few weeks I was excited to go back home from work, hoping to see her in Town Centre Park, but I always ended up disappointed when she wasn't there.

She never texted me either, since that night. I had given up hope of seeing her again.

It was a Sunday morning and I was feeling tired.
I decided to go to Starbuck since I had nothing to do. I took my scarf and purse and locked the door of my apartment, the wind blew into my body giving me the chills. Wanting to get warm quickly, so jogged to the coffee shop.

I opened the door and the warmth from inside heated my body, and the aroma of coffee filled my nose.

I made my way to the counter and ordered a large cappuccino with no sugar on it. Once I got it, I wrapped my hands around the cup keeping them warm and sat down on the corner side.
Drinking it was like heaven as I took a sip of it and let the warm liquid submerge to my body.
I placed the cup down just as I heard the door slam open. As I turned my head to see what was happening, my eyes can't believe who's the person came in, it was Aiko.

At first I didn't believe it and thought I was seeing things but no it was her, that hair and eyes that captured my heart.
But, her eyes weren't sad this time they looked scared.
She looked like she was in a hurry, and then she spotted me looking at her, she walked straight to my table and sat down.

I placed my hands around my coffee and looked at her wide eyed, she was showing a panic expression.

"Just go with the flow act like I'm late in meeting you or something." She said really quickly and I wasn't able to catch it all. She kept her eyes looking on the door like she was expecting for somebody to come in.

"What?" I asked a bit baffled. I still couldn't believe it was her. "What are you doi-" I didn't get to finish my question as the panic in her eyes grew larger as the door opened again.

A cute couple walked in and started making their way to our table.

"Go with it ok." she said to me as she cut me off and stood up from the chair. I stayed sitting down and then she looked at me pleading with her eyes for me to stand up, so I did. My head was still spinning I was so confused. She put her arm around my waist just as the couple came up to us and I froze.

"Uhmm.. Jessica, Deanna I want to introduce you, my girlfriend." She smiled at them and nervously chuckled. I was shocked, I couldn't believe what was happening and then couple looked at me.

"Oh, I see.. What's your name" Jessica asked to me kindly. I was lost for words but I forced myself to speak.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, my name is Jackie." I said as I put my hand out for them to shake and did a nervous laugh. Deanna was the first to take my hand and I smiled. They were hard and a bit rough.

"You are a good catch. Aiko has good taste, it's about time you got a girlfriend dork." Deanna said and Aiko laughed in return..
Deanna let go of my hand and Jessica took it next, her hand was more smoother.

"You're such a pretty girl, "she said as she held my hand and I blushed at the compliment.
She let go of my hand and started talking again. "As much as I love to spend more time with guys, I and Deanna need to go now. Have fun you love birds." Aiko and I stumbled out our goodbyes as they left the shop.
