Bea looked up at Eva's remark, raising an eyebrow in response. Eva's fingers were wrapped in Bea's hair, threading the pink strands together. They were content to lay on Bea's couch, laughing through the day.
"Because tomorrow is Valentine's? So it goes with the season."
"I definitely didn't plan that," Bea replied, but she smiled nonetheless. It was cute, just like her girlfriend. They were cute. "We're doing something for Valentine's, aren't we?"
"We're going to dinner then that party, remember?"
"Oh, right. We're celebrities." There was a slight eyeroll to accompany Bea's words, but she didn't mean anything by it. She loved being famous; right now, she was the perfect level of famous- people knew her name and supported her, but she wasn't under constant surveillance like Tom Holland or Zendaya.
"Mhmmmm." Eva hummed in response, and the two continued to lay there, happily watching the dumb show on the TV that they loved so much.
