"Ok, so what your saying is... We still have nothing to work with." I yelled out in frustration see Patton nod his head sadly. "You know what... I am this close to just saying fuck it."

"Caz..."

"No, Pat listen. You four are better off doing your own crap. I mean you three are even dorming together." Virgil's eyes went wide and I could see him typing away.

'Actually, it's all four of us.' My eyes narrowed and I shook my head.

"My point exactly. I'm the outsider. You guys just... figure your own shit out."

"You forget, Caz." Suddenly Logan's face popped up in the call and I frowned. It looked like he took a damn shower. "Mr. Sanders clearly stated we must all participate."

"So I fail."

"And what about us?" I froze and everyone looked away as Logan just glared through the screen. "Are you willing to risk our future just because you've clearly given up on yours?"

"I haven't given up." He narrowed his eyes and I frowned.

"It doesn't look that way."

"Ok, come on now, kiddo's. There's no need for that. I'm sure it's just a lot of stress is all. We only have so long to get things started." I rolled my eyes and laid my head back against the wall. This was all getting to me. I don't... I don't work well around people. Not without my mask on anyway. I looked around spotting my costume in the closet and smiled. "We don't even have an idea of what we're doing let alone a theme..."

"Why don't we write about the supers that have been popping up?" I was talking out of my ass as I just stared at my costume. I don't know why I said that. It's not like I want people digging into my extracurricular activities or anything. Although knowing Virgil we may actually find out some shit. Research might be fun. I might be able to one-up those ridiculous...

"You mean like the Revenants?" I groaned and looked away. I just can't get away from them can I? "I could do a lot on Inferno."

"Please tell me you aren't a fan of the pompous hothead." Roman's smile fell and I shook my head. "I wasn't talking about specifics or anything. I was speaking out loud. And there are so many more supers out there then the trio of morons."

"Name one!"

'Deception.' My eyes went wide as Virgil nodded away. 'The villain has been making a lot of headway since he started popping up. People are saying he's the new up and comer."

"Up and Comer? HE'S BEEN HERE FOR 5 YEARS!" Both Logan and I yelled causing Virgil to jump and hide under his hoodie. Logan glanced over at me and I shook my head. "Look it doesn't matter ok? I didn't actually mean anything by my comment."

"Despite my apprehension, it does make sense to write about something you know. We all clearly know about the Revenants so... It does make sense to write... about them." And we are back to ignoring Deceit. Yay... I love being invisible. I glared at everyone and ran a hand through my hair.

"So what your saying is we just gonna write about a bunch of shitty heroes who don't even do anything?"

"Falsehood. They fight Deception." They fight me? Now there's a falsehood. They couldn't actually fight me. All they do is provide a distraction. Five years and every time I get away without so much as a scratch... now, why is that?

"I'm going to bed." I called before slamming my laptop shut and putting it on my desk. This was all getting ridiculous. I walked over grabbing my journal from the closet and sat back down on the bed. What do I add today?

Don't get me wrong. I fucking hate diaries. I hate the whole premise of them but when you live two lives sometimes it's nice to tell someone something. Even if it's a damn book. As soon as my pen hit the paper I frowned. Logic was an ass. He's too... focused on the black and white. Hero and Villain. Congrats you've achieved being a hard-ass. I rolled my eyes as I wrote about today's event as Deceit without a single missed moment.

I shoved my journal back into the closet and just laid in bed drained. Maybe I was going about this the wrong way. I was treating my position as Villain loosely. I never declared myself that, no the people did. As soon as the blog DeceptivePanic showed up I was deemed a villain and that's just how it's been.

What is a villain anyway? I didn't see a difference between the heroes and us. Take Logic for example. He's cold, calculating, callus even... He's nearly robotic but yet he's a hero because he fights for 'good'. I fight for nothing and no one. I follow no set rules and do as I please and that makes me a villain.

Ironic...

Considering the first time I ever used my powers was to help someone.
