Walking into the classroom was like a breath of fresh air. I spotted everyone at the table and smiled. Patton was laughing as Roman was doing was looked like an impression of something. Virgil was writing away in his notebook and Logan... Logan looked sad. I couldn't tell you why. I took a deep breath and fixed my white mask so that it fit properly and made my way over.

"Caz, your back!" Patton jumped up and hugged me with this big smile on his face. I practically had to pry him off of me. "I'm sorry. I was just worried. Did you get the notes I sent you?"

"Yeah, thanks for those. I meant to text." Patton smiled as he sat back down and I followed suit.

'You ok, Caz?' Virgil looked up from his notebook and I smiled.

"Yeah, Virge. I'm good. So... what did I miss?" Patton started going off a mile a minute and I just melted into the sound of their chatter. I actually missed this. Funny that... I never took myself for the social type. No wait, I never took myself for the having friends type. I glanced out the window and frowned. I couldn't get Logic out of my head. What the hell had gotten into him? And what happened on Valentine's day?

I mean he literally told me that I was a villain so he didn't like me. Why say that and then kiss me like we were dating or something. We are not dating. And then he brought up Valentine's day like it was this special fucking thing. He even got upset and everything when I told him I didn't remember anything, like who does that?

"So far, Caz... Caz?"

"Hmm... What?" Roman started laughing and I rolled my eyes. "Sorry I kinda zoned out there."

"I was saying that so far we've written mostly about Deceit." I narrowed my eyes in confusion and he shrugged. "It's what we were all drawn to. Anyway, we started writing all this stuff down and Virgil got this idea about trying to find out when he first debuted." Good luck with that. An entire year was just wiped from existence so... unless you pester the press enough about it you ain't finding shit.

"Did you guys find anything?" Their faces fell and I just scoffed. That's what I thought. I looked over to see Logan just sitting there in silence not even looking at any of us. That's a bit odd for him. Even if he's not talking he's at least writing shit down.

"Ok, what's going on with you sourpuss?" I looked up to find Patton giving Logan a look. Logan just rolled his eyes and put his head down on the table.

"I'm just tired." I narrowed my eyes and Patton shook his head.

"No, you've been like this since you came home yesterday."

'It's true, Logan. You never even touched your crofters.' I laughed and Virgil glared at me as he put his notebook down. Roman started laughing too as he slapped Logan's back.

"You're acting like someone broke your heart or something." Next thing I knew Logan had Roman against the wall with his arm across his neck. Everyone started yelling. Some people even begged for a fight. I was just worried. Logan looked like he was about to cry, and Roman looked scared shitless.

"Hey, maybe we should..."

"Stay out it, Cassidy!" Logan yelled as he pressed his arm further against Roman neck causing him to choke.

"L-Logan..."

"You have NO right, Roman. Do you hear me? Your lucky I didn't beat the shit out of you..."

"OK!" I ran up and twisted Logan's arm causing him to cry out and stumble back. Roman fell to the ground wide-eyed and dazed. Logan looked back up at us with such anger and I stepped in front of Roman, blocking him from any more attacks. "That's enough. You two are friends. Start acting like it."

"You don't even know what's going on! Go be like the loner you are and back off." I narrowed my eyes as Logan straightened himself out. Patton ran over pulling Roman out of the way and Logan just followed them with his eyes. "I'm not done with you yet, you son of a..."

"Can it, Coke a Cola!" I yelled drawing his attention back to me. His eyes went wide as he stumbled back a bit. I walked up to him and practically shoved him into a wall. "I didn't come here to deal with you fucked up drama, ok? I have a project to do, a good grade to get, and a life to live. You mess with that and there is going to be trouble. Get your act together and figure your shit out. English class is not the time or place to duke it out with your friends."

"C-Cas..." I narrowed my eyes and started for my bags when Logan grabbed my arm. I spun around to slap him when he grabbed my wrist like he knew that was going to happen. The look on his face was pure shook and tore my hand from his.

"Don't touch me."

"I'm sorry... I don't know what I was thinking... It's just... something you said." I rolled my eyes and sat back at the table ignoring the looks from everyone in the class. They should all get a life. The teacher ain't even here so why are they? Logan slowly sat down at the table never taking his eyes off me. I started to get a little uncomfortable.

"Ok, now that that... is uh... over. Let's just get back to work please?"
