I walked up to the building and frowned. They had called me for help but I had a bad feeling about this. I get it. Lower level villains will always cling to the stronger ones but still. Something was telling me this wasn't right.

Walking inside I could smell the smoke. It made my skin crawl. Everything was telling me to run but I couldn't. What if they really did need help? I couldn't risk people getting hurt because I let my fear take over. That isn't the type of person Deceit is.

"Hello?" I yelled as I pushed past a broken and burnt banister. I heard it crack and I jumped out of the way as it fell, bring up a shit ton of dust. I narrowed my eyes and frowned. This sick feeling wasn't going away. "HELLO?!"

"Look who decided to show up." My blood went cold as I slowly turned around to see glowing red eyes in the black. "I never actually thought they would get you here."

"Inferno." I watched as the fire demon walked out of the pitch black with a sick smile on his face. I could see the fire rolling off his face and features threatening to burn the whole place down. He was pissed. He already lost control. This wasn't good. "Nice to see you again."

"Save it." He cracked his neck the flames that surrounded him flared out making me step back in fear. Out of all of them, I am legit afraid of Inferno. He's the only one out of those three that pose an actual threat. He's the only one that may be stronger than me. "You think you're better than me? A VILLAIN... better than me?"

"You should watch yourself. You're sounding more like a villain then I am. Where're the people that called me?" His eyes narrowed and I watched as the flames branched out like a dragon. It wrapped itself around me and I froze tensing up as the fire licked at my face.

"You should watch your tongue." I threw my arms up and jumped back despite the flames as the roof caved in. I ran as fast as I could let my burning jacket fall off me into the dirt. I fixed my mask and let my energy branch around me. "YOU SON OF A BITCH!" This large piece of wall exploded and bits of plaster and glass flew right for me. I held my hand out and watched as they all froze in the air. Again I watched as Inferno walked out of the building lost to his rage.

"What did I do?" He narrowed his eyes and I let my hand, and the debris, fall. "You're obviously angry at me for something. Is this about what I did to Logic the other day? I swear I just wanted to talk."

"Shut it."

"Inferno, You're angry. I can see that. I understand. I don't know why you are but I do understand."

"Shut. Up." I could see him clenching his fist and I took a step back subconsciously.

"Look around you, Inferno. You need to calm down. Look at what you did here. You..."

"SHUT UP!" I turned just in time to see a blast of fire slam into me sending me flying back into a wall. Next thing I knew Inferno had a broken banister in his hands and sent it right into my side. I could feel my bones break and I cried out.  He took a shaky step back as I fell to the ground holding my stomach in pain. "Get up." I shook my head and his eyes went wide. "GET UP!"

"Ass...hole..." He grabbed me by the collar and slammed me into the wall, causing my head to hit hard. Everything started to get hazy as I gripped his wrist. I could feel my hand starting to burn as his fire started to wrap around my hand. It was all starting to go black. Let me go... Let. Me. GO. "In... Infern... In..."

"Shit!" I felt myself drop to the ground and everything felt cold. Everything was dark and hazy and hard to see. I felt someone looking me over and I cried out at the sudden intense pain in my side. Yep, definitely broke some bones. "D-Deceit... Shit... I went too far. I..."

"INFERNO!" I cringed at the loud voice that boomed over us. "What the hell did you do?"

"Logic! This... isn't good." I could hear Inferno laugh slightly as he walked away from me and I frowned. Of course, Logic decides now to show up. AFTER HIS PARTNER GOES CRAZY! I forced myself up despite the agony and fell back leaning against the wall. I could see them arguing and I frowned. If word got out that Inferno went berserk for no reason his reputation as a hero would be tarnished. As well as his team's. I can't let that happen. Not to Logic... and not to Inferno. H-he... He just needs to learn control. That's all. "Logic it's not what it..." I burst out laughing putting on that fake smile I perfected and drawing in their attention. Inferno frowned seeing the bruises and burns all over me. I took a step forward stumbling a little before straightening myself out.

"I got to say I'm surprised Inferno." His eyes went wide as I pushed my words out with this sickening sweet lull to them. "Not only did you figure out my plan, you managed to stop me."

"What?" Inferno took a step forward and Logic blocked him with his arm. I just smiled and shrugged.

"And all by yourself too. Here I thought you were as useful as a slug." I let my voice drop to a growl and Logic narrowed his eyes at me. Inferno just looked completely lost. GET WITH THE PROGRAM DUDE! I'm giving you a fucking out! TAKE IT! "Next time though..." I groaned as the pain sparked through me catching me off guard a bit. "... I... I won't g-go... so easy on ya."

"Deceit..." I looked over at Logic, ignoring Inferno's confusion and frowned.

"You should be proud of your partner Logic. He just saved your ass." I turned around and ran as fast as I could ignoring the intense pain until I made it home. I made it up one step before crumbling to the ground crying out in agony. Why did do that? Why did I actually help that fucker? I crawled myself inside and into bed, not even bothering to change, before falling asleep.

You think you're better than me? A VILLAIN... better than me?!
