"Mom?" I pushed the broken door open more as I walked into my home. I could see glass shattered and furniture turned over. The further in a walked the worse it got until I managed to make my way into the kitchen. My blood ran cold seeing them just laying there. I almost could have mistaken them for passed out drunk if it wasn't for the blood...

And the man sitting happily on the island above them.

"Cassidy! Welcome home." I never took my eyes off my mother and stepfather as He just laughed. "Don't bother they already dead, been that way for a while. All three of them were..."

"NICKY!" I took off running and He just sighed following behind me. I ran all the way up the stairs and into her room only to break seeing it in tatters. The window was broken. The blankets and curtains ripped... the whole place was destroyed. "Where..."

"She's gone, Cassidy. Just like them." I felt him place a hand on my shoulder and I spun around, kicking him right through the wall. He just laughed as he brushed off the plaster and paint that hung to him.

"And here I thought you'd finally join me." I clenched my fists tightly feeling the air spark around them ready to ignite.

"Not on your life." I launched myself at him and moments before my fist hit his smiling face, I was shocked awake by this loud crash.

"Darn it!" I looked over to see Patton picking up this tray and I frowned seeing his hands shaking. I jumped up to help him and saw as he leaned back wiping the tears from his eyes. I picked up the mess and handed the tray to him, only to freeze seeing just how red and puffy he was.

"Pat..." He dropped the tray again and pulled me into a hug. I tensed up as he cried into my shoulder and I slowly held him tightly till he calmed down. "It's ok... It's going to ok. I..."

"I'm sorry!" I pulled away and looked down to see him slowly wiping his tears away still sobbing a bit. "I'm so sorry."

"What do you have to be sorry about? I'm the one that..."

"I took your mask off." My face fell as I reach up and felt my fingers graze my cheek. "I had to. You were unconscious a-and hurt... I need to heal you and..."

"It's fine, Patton." He looked up at me and I looked down as I let go of him. "Everybody else knows it's me so. It was only a matter of time. I'm actually happy you know. You... were always too soft... It made me want to protect you."

"But it also made me a target." I pushed myself farther away from him and he started to freak out. "N-No... I-I didn't mean you. I just..."

"Again, It's fine." I took a deep breath and looked away as I ran a hand through my hair. "I don't blame you if you don't feel safe around me right now. I wouldn't..."

"CASSIDY!" Virgil popped up out of nowhere again and I tensed up as he ran over to hug me. "You're up. I'm so happy. I was so scared. I-I d-didn't know..."

"I'm ok, Virgil. If a collapsing building couldn't stop me what makes you think a little power drainage would?" He pulled away as I started laughing and frowned flicking me on the nose. "What was that for?"

"Your jokes aren't funny. I was really worried."

"I know, and I'm sorry." I brushed the hair out of his eyes as he pulled his hood up and I smiled. "On a happy note... You are being far more vocal that you used to." He started blushing and I laughed. "I'm proud of you Virgil."

"So am I." I looked over to see Roman standing in the doorway. "Of course, I am always proud of my boyfriend so..."

"Well, that's news to me!" They all started laughing and I couldn't help but smile. Here I was with the people that had slowly become my family. And who would have thought they were all the same people. And Logic, he... wait... "Hey, guys?" The laughter died down as I looked around starting to get worried. "Where's Logan?"

My phone started ringing and this earth-shattering chill came over me. My hands started shaking really bad as I answered it. Right away I could hear screaming in the background the air around me started to spark. Everyone backed up away from me so fast for fear of... well exploding.

"Deceit?" A younger voice came through and my eyes narrowed. "Did he answer or..."

"Where is he?"

"There you are!" The girl giggled as the screams got louder, meaning she was moving closer to him. "Say hi?"

"B-Bite M-Me B-Bitch!" The tears came instantly hearing the pain in his voice. It was so hoarse and raspy from screaming out that it was barely understandable.

"So mean... Any way Nerd boy is with us. I'm Cassie BTWs... Cassie Roads. I've heard a lot about you from Jax."

"WHERE IS HE?" I growled out ignoring the tiny explosions that sparked around me in response to my anger.

"Mean and Impatient... You're no different than the nerd. Whatever, you won't survive... and neither will he." The screaming ripped through the phone again as she just laughed. My skin began to crawl. Her laugh... it was identical to his... to fathers. "The old abandoned building off of third street. You'll find him there."

"I'm on my way." She laughed again and I nearly caused the phone to blow up in rage.

"Hurry up... I wouldn't want to be too late."
