Twenty Days After Agatha's Death

"I said, leave this to me." Lucas growled silently.

"Lucas, kaibigan ko rin si Agatha and the fact na isa ako sa napili niyang send-an ng email," my face softened, "means something. Hindi ako matatahimik kapag wala akong ginawa."

"Still, no."

"Please?" I heave a sigh again before I stare right into his stern eyes.

He sighed for a few minutes. He is weighing the situation like a matter of life and death circumstance. It seems like it was the biggest decision that he will ever make in his life. That one decision he knew, he will regret.

Napilitan siyang tumango. "Okay." He hissed, "Just don't let yourself be harmed."

Pinaningkita ko lang siya ng mga mata.

Duda ako dito.

Base sa mga screenshots na nabasa ko ay sobrang sweet nila. Sobra din ang iniyak ni Larby noong nakaburol pa si Agatha.

Duda ako sa sinabi niya.

Sigurado akong walang kinalalaman si Larby dito.

Patuloy akong nakatingin sa kanya nang may maalala ako tungkol sa kanya. I should take advantage. I should ask all the questions I have in my mind while we are still in speaking terms.

"Pero teka nga, narinig ko kayo noong nakaraang linggo sa playground malapit sa subdivision namin. You said you'll hire a hacker just to delete the emails that Agatha sent to us. Tell me, why did you do that?"

He narrowed his eyes. "How did you know that?" He almost squeal.

"It just happened." I laugh awkwardly. It will be weird if I told him we used to stalk him.

"Am I included to your suspects?" He gave me a playful wounded look.

Tumango ako nang mabagal. He gave me a completely shock WTF look.

"Listen." Napasapo siya sa kanyang noo. Stress agad?! "Ganito kasi 'yon. Kaya ko iyon ginawa ay dahil: first, kagaya nga ng sinabi ko, gusto ko 'tong lutasin nang mag-isa lang. Ayokong may makaalam na kahit na sino tungkol dito. Thinking about what the police said about Agatha's case, they strongly believed that it's a suicide. He took a deep breath. "Second, I want Stephanie to feel like I am her ally. I want to befriend her. I need to gain her trust and once she confessed what she did to Agatha, I will quickly record it and give it to the police. That will pave a way to my third reason. I want to gather concrete evidences first before I take the most legal way on dealing with this case."

My jaw almost drop to the floor. "I never thought you'd be this genius." I tilt my head because I am completely surprise of what I've heard from him.
