"He became a better person having you here. You know what's funny? It's when he asked me for the copy of you both joining the game during my grandson's family day. It was the day too that he told me about you."
She's smiling so wide and I did too. Isipin ko pa lang ang mukha ni Senechov habang hinihingi sa ina niya ang video ay natatawa na ako. He's a grown up handsome man but he could act adorable sometimes.
At iyong video'ng iyon! Akala ko hindi niya alam ang tungkol doon! Naalala kong grabe ang hiya ko na makita iyon ni Ma'am Navi. But then, nangyari pa rin.
"Hindi ko po ba.." Iniiwas ko ang paningin sa kanya. I'm too shy to ask it!
"What?" She asked gently.
Kagaya ko ay pinahiran niya ang luha sa kanyang mga mata. It's kinda strange, talking to Seine's mother like this. I thought it's going to be a confrontation or something. Maybe involving me being sent out of the mansion?
But just thinking about it seems ridiculous. Sa mga drama lang yata iyon nangyayari.
"Baka po kasi salungat kayo sa relasyon namin kasi.. kasambahay niyo po ako."
My cheeks are blushing.
Naiiling siya habang napapangiti.
"You watched too much dramas, hija." She chuckled.
I breathed a sigh. Well, I thought so, too.
"It doesn't matter to our family, the social statuses. It might be boastful on our part but really, we have too much money to share other families. So there's no need to keep it by ourselves. Deianara, Apollo's mother, came from a poor family. But never have my husband's parents went against them. I am not that rich, too. It's too cliche to interfere in the affairs of your children. As long as the woman is a good one, and they're both in love while being responsible, it's done. We are not intrusive in any relationship of our sons."
Stanford family is really one of a kind. They are one of the richest and most influential in the society but they are all down to earth. Marami akong nakilala sa kanila noong party ni Santhe. They are all goodlooking and gorgeous.
"Well, I intrude in my son's affairs sometimes, but it's just because he's too much of a player." She grinned.
Napangiti ako sa sinabi niya.
"That's why.. I am here to tell you to be patient over him. I know it's bad of me to meddle between you two but I just want what's best for my son and my grandson. Santhe loves you already, I can see that. And it's hard to find someone like you who love and cared for him like I do.." Her eyes are pleading.
Hindi ko maiwasang manerbiyos sa kinauupuan ko. I should probably tell it to her. I need to come clean. After all the goodness she gave to me, she deserves to know the truth.
Hindi pa ako nagsasalita pero dumadagundong na ang dibdib ko sa kaba.
"Ma'am Navi I just want to say sorry. May kasalanan po ako. I lied to you.. kay Senechov. Kaya ngayon ay galit siya sa akin." My tears are already at bay.
Ayokong umiyak, pero traidor talaga 'tong mga luha ko dahil panay ang labas sa tearducts ko.
"What did you lied about?" She asked me calmly.
Her calmness makes me uneasy.
"Ang totoo po niyan.." Napalunok ako. My heart is drumming so wild. "Kapatid ko po ang Mommy ni Santhe!"
