The Gems of Cakes & Coffee. In front of me is my wife's Cakes and Coffee Shop. It is a perfect place for mini-business conferences, meetings, and socialite acquaintance. It has a brown wooden theme, and inside it, you will see from the right side of the main counter is a mini-function room that can accommodate 10-15 people. It has a sliding door that separates them from walk-in customers. On the left side is where you will see a two life-size bookshelf with different books, magazines, and newspapers, and alongside, it is a sofa where you can read, drink, relax, and use Wi-Fi at the same time. My wife made sure, that customers benefit from its comfort, and that she won't be needing an expensive marketing strategy, but with a free advertisement from a satisfied customer's word of mouth is expressed.

I went inside to look for my wife's sister Peridot Vrianna Saavedra. Ang kapatid niya na higit pa niyang mahal kaysa sa sarili niyang buhay.

I heard her screaming. "My one and only kuya Silver, I miss you." Matagal rin kaming hindi nagkita, kaya naman ganyan siya ka saya na makita ako. Naging busy, at pabalik-balik kasi ako sa ibang bansa upang ayusin ang ilang mga bagay sa negosyo at trabaho na nangangailangan nang buong atensyon ko.

She runs like crazy towards me, while I simply cover my ears because of her annoying voice. She kissed and embraced me then asked me "Teka nasaan si ate, bakit di mo kasama?"

"She's home, baking cupcakes as usual. Ang dami ninyo kasing customized orders na gusto n'ya na s'ya mismo ang gagawa." I guided her to the nearest table and pulled a chair for her.

"Actually, Ikaw talaga ang pakay ko." Panay naman ang tango niya habang titig na titig sa akin. Pag dating kasi sa ate nya, siya talaga ang tanging tao na maari kong maasahan.

"I was thinking of giving her a surprise." Alanganin kong sabi.

"Okay ka lang, that's a mission impossible kuya." She has her point. Actually, it is not impossible but rather challenging.

Then I told her about my plan. I'm a bit nervous though but at the same time excited. With that though, a particular memory played inside my head.

"Mahal ko, wala ka bang nakakalimutan----today?"

"Wala naman. Bakit?"

"Silver, it's our anniversary." She whispers to my ear.

"Yes, I remember, why?" I casually answered.

"Why? You're asking me why?" Tila gulat niyang tanong.

"Yes, Mahal ko why?" Nakakunot noo kong tanong.

"Wala ka man lang bang inihandang surprise for me on this very, super very much, greatly important special day?" There is a hint of anticipation in her exaggerated question.
