"We only see each other at weddings and funerals"
Eleanor sat in her room, drawing in her latest sketch book that she had summoned for herself as she wasn't allowed to leave the house. That's what her father's rule was.
She was the only one of the eight children left in the house. The others had left a long time ago.
Number One, or also known as Luther, had been sent to the moon by their father roughly three to four years ago. He'd been the last of the Hargreeves children to leave.
Number Two, Diego, also left a long time ago. Eleanor was unsure of where he'd moved onto. There was a time when they were quite close and Eleanor hoped that if the family were ever together again, they would still be just as close.
Number Three, Allison. Eleanor had no idea where she was but she knew that she was now a famous actress. She was proud of her sister for that.
Number Four, Klaus, Eleanor's favourite and one of her siblings she had always been closest with. He, of course, was a drug and alcohol addict because he was forever haunted by the dead, his power being that he was basically a human ouija board. She would sometimes see him walk (more like stumble) past the house from one of the many windows, but he would never look up, never realise she was still there. Eleanor often doubted that her siblings knew that she was seemingly trapped forever in the home of the old Umbrella Academy.
Number Five. He didn't have any other name. Number Five disappeared roughly sixteen years ago. She often remembered the day he ran away and she always hoped he was still out there, even if she didn't like him all that much.
Number Six, Ben. Ben was another sibling that Eleanor always loved the most. Klaus, Ben and Eleanor were always seen together. If she wasn't with the two of them, she would often be found with Diego (unless she was in her room drawing). Ben, unfortunately, died when the Hargreeves siblings were children or teenagers. Eleanor could never quite remember. She knew he haunted Klaus and followed him pretty much everywhere, she often used to catch Klaus having a conversation with Ben. Sometimes she would join in, gripping Klaus' shoulder so she could absorb some of his power briefly and see Ben. It always felt like the good old times when they would hang out together for hours.
Then there was Number Seven, Vanya. She was ordinary. No powers at all. But Eleanor always used to believe she was good at playing the violin, and would often compliment her sister when she practised, telling her she should play professionally when she grew up.
Number Eight, Eleanor herself, the youngest. Born ten years after the others, she was different from the rest of her siblings. She was seventeen while all her siblings were twenty-seven. One of the main reasons she was different to her siblings was due to the fact that she had blonde hair and blue eyes unlike her siblings who all had dark hair and dark eyes, and her powers. Eleanor had a range of powers, not all she considered as powers and some of them she didnt use very much. Most of them were used only when necessary, such as; being able to project multiple versions of herself (only ever used to distract people, and she didn't meet anyone who wasn't her family so she only used it in training), shapeshifting into other people (very useful for getting out of trouble, but not when all of her siblings had moved out), and being able to absorb her siblings power as long as she was gripping onto their hand or shoulder and focussing really hard. Sometimes the new powers worked after she let go of her sibling (but for a limited time only) and sometimes they only worked when she was gripping onto the sibling whose power she was 'borrowing'. Again, this was hardly ever used as there was no reason for her to use it. . The only useful power that she used all the time was her ability to summon or conjure up any object pretty much whenever. She used this one the most. There was never a day where she didnt use this ability, whether if it was to get food or some cigarettes to smoke or a bottle of vodka. Although she never took the sort of drugs that her older brother Klaus took.
