Chapter 3 (Edited)

Fitz's POV

I just got home after almost but failing at catching the Moonlark, man was he a tough person to catch.  Sheriff Fintan comes over.

"My men have looked everywhere near the cliff where the Moonlark fell off of.  No sign of body's.  It's like they disappeared!" 

"UGH we're never going to to find him!"

"Don't give up hope your highness.  No one can hide forever."

"You're right Sheriff.  Keep looking."

"Yes sir."

I walk away.  I turn a corner and see my best friend Keefe.  

"The King wants to see you," Keefe says.

"About what?"

"Don't know seems important."

"Ok I'll go see him now.  Thanks Keefe."  I walk away from Keefe towards my dad's office.  Once I get there I knock and walk in.  "You wanted to see me dad?"

"Yes Fitz.  It seems like your friend Keefe is good at something other than pranking people,"  my dad says.  "I have someone for you, your sister and Keefe to meet."

"Who?"

"A girl named Sophie she is Grady and Edaline's adopted daughter.  She from what I hear is a great telepath."

"Ok so why do I have to meet her?"

"So you can work together to try and become Cognates(A.N. I think I spelled that right) and so Biana can meet other people (Castle life is a  lonely life).  And Keefe just because if you meet someone he will want to meet them to." 

"Fine I'll do it."

"Thank you." I leave.

I meet Keefe in my room like every time I have a meeting with my father.   "He wants me to meet with a girl," I say to Keefe.

"A GIRL!" Keefe shouts. 

"Yes Keefe."

"Is she hot?"

"I don't know."

"Do I get to meet her?"

"Yes."

"WHAT!" Keefe screeches.  "Do I look ok? Is my hair good?"

"Jeez Keefe if I didn't know better I'd say you're trying to impress her."

"What's her name?"  Keefe says ignoring me messing with his hair.

"Her name is Sophie."

"Oh I know her she and I met after she pranked Stina with that balding serum.  I wanted to meet her she's one of my idols."

"Why?"

"Didn't you hear? She's a pranking master! Just like me!"

"Oh right!  Didn't she pull the one on Dame Alina where she got drenched in droppings on the morning announcements at Foxfire?"

"Yeah."

"How'd she get in anyway? I thought she went to Exillium."

"She does that's what makes the prank even more awesome!"

"Why does she go to Exillium anyway?"

"Because of the whole thing."

"What thing?"

"Oh you don't know the thing where she totally came from a human city and no one trusted her at Foxfire so they moved her to Exillium."

"Oh that's her?"

"Yeah."

"Cool."

"Now get out I have to work on some work for my telepath mentor."

"Sir, yes sir!" Keefe leaves and I look head over to my desk.  I open one of my desk drawers and look at my Exillium papers. I have papers on everyone in Exillium and looked for Sophie's papers.  I read her paper it says that she was unfit for Foxfire.  Also that she is a telepath, polygot,and an inflictor.  She is 13 according to this.  Well I better get ready she's coming in thirty minutes.
