Authors Note:This is my first story so if you like it please vote and tell me what I can do better. Note these Characters belong to Shannon Messenger. Also the characters will have their powers but I will add some of my own powers to make the story go smoothly. You can also tell me ideas for new characters and their powers. Finally I would like to point out that my book is loosely related to booklover0823's book, so if you like Rebel go cheek their book out.
Sophie's POV:
I raced past the trees with my friend Tam at my side. Tam's sister Linh was right behind us. Linh and Tam are twins, they had black as night hair and silver tips and silver-blue eyes, they joined me because of the King and his family they thought that kids should come one at a time so twins were basically outlawed. But any way we were on the run from the Prince and Sharif Fintan we had our dark capes on that helped us blend into the shadows. We were on the run because we may or may not have stolen from one of the stores in the Atlantis . I risked a look behind us Fintan's men were to close for liking.
"Now?" Tam asked.
"Not yet there's a cliff up ahead. Once we there hide us in shadows," I told him. After running a good hundred feet the cliff was right in front of us. "Linh can you use the moisture from the air to help Tam with the shadows?" I asked.
"No problem!" Linh answered. Linh was about to do what I asked her to do but then Prince Fitz appeared.
"Drop the jewels and I won't harm you!" He told us.
I laughed at him my friends joined in. "Do you know who we are?" I asked him.
"Yes you are the leader of the Black Swan the group of criminals. You go by the name of 'Moonlark' and your shade friend is 'Midnight' the girl is 'Aquamarine'" He says.
"Oh look Midnight were famous!" says Linh.
"So you know who we are! Doesn't mean you can catch us" I say grabbing Linh and Tam's hands and pull them off the cliff. I split the sky and we enter the void I think about my home. I hear Verdi roar as we step out of the void and into Havenfield.
