Sophie's POV
In the forest where Fitz said he wanted to meet me, I had all sorts of backup. There was Linh and Tam's ability's. My Inflicting and then there was Mr. Forkle reading Fitz's mind. Finally Biana was backup.
We're already in the trees just waiting for him.
Crack went the trees fallen branches.
"Moonlark!?" he questions.
I jump down from the tree doing a back flip soft thuds say that the rest of them except Forkle followed suit.
"You called?" I ask.
"Yes."
"Are you going to tell me why or are you just going to stand there."
"I asked you to come here for two reasons. One I was seeing if you would come and two because I want to join the Black Swan."
I start to laugh, "You join the Black Swan?"
"Yes. What is so hilarious?"
"You do realize that you as of a couple days ago were telling me to drop my jewels right?"
"Yes and however did you survive that fall?"
"It's a secret," I tease him. "Now why do you want to join the Black Swan?"
"Because their is something else going on here and the Black Swan is taking the blame for it."
"Oh really?" I ask.
"Yeah, you're doing something that doesn't involve stealing but you use stealing as a cover."
"Is that so? Do you have any evidence?"
"Well no," he trails off. "But I know you are a good person deep down and I know yhou do good things so I want to be part of the Black Swan."
"Let me think about it and I'll tell you later."
"So you expect me to wait all day in this forest?" he scoffs.
"Your royalty is showing Prince. Didn't we do it for you?"
"Well yes."
"But no as you said we do have a little goodness in us so you can go and I'll send a message."
"The Goblins read through all of my letters."
"Who said I'd send a letter," I say jumping back up to the trees the rest following.
"Now I believe I promised you a little fun yeah?" I ask Linh, Dex, Tam and Biana.
