Rebel a sophitz story

Chapter 21

Fitz's POV

I have to admit that it was funny when the Mentors walked into the rooms covered in feathers.

But no one was enjoying it as much as Keefe.  I mean when we were walking and saw a teacher he doubled over laughing.   

So because the teachers were all distressed Dame Alina called a meeting in the Auditorium to tell us something 'Important.'

When I got there the first thing I saw was the Picture of a Moonlark.  It was like a spotlight everyone's eyes is on the spray painted picture.

Oh no.  That means that Sophie's the Moonlark!  Tam is Midnight and Linh must be a Hydrokinetic which would make her Aquamarine!

I just asked out a criminal.  Oh.  If my dad finds out I'm in so much trouble.  But it's only a suspicion so I should keep it to myself and if I notice anything strange I'll make a note.

So I just on with my day as normal. 

Sophie's POV

I'm with Biana  and Linh training for the next mission at our base.

"Gods,"  I say watching Biana slash with her sword.  "Whoever thought beautiful people can't fight are idiots!"

"You're up Soph," Biana says tossing me her sword.

"Hmph," I reply.  "Not my type I prefer my twin knives,"  I say tossing her back her sword and drawing my knives.  

My knives were a gift from Sandor.  They are white with black swirls.   I take out my anger about the Prince and our society in general.  Thinking we are better then humans.   Once I'm done the dummy's are in shreds.

"Hey Soph can you leave something for me to fight?"  Linh asks.

"Sorry Linh I had to let out my anger/ stress and I figured Tam, Dex and Wylie wouldn't like it if I slashed them up," I reply.

"Good idea,"  says Biana at the same time Linh says, "Fair."

"Well now that the dummy's are destroyed," Biana looks at me when she says that, "we should go on to ability training."

Linh and I nod.  As we walk to the training area for Hydrokinetics seeing as Linh was the only one who didn't get to practice weapons we decided she would go first.

I turn the Hose on and water comes rushing out about to hit the ground.  But before it does Linh takes over waving her hands.  

Some of the water forms a water sword which slices the air.    While the rest of it forms a spear and the two weapons clash sending drops of water through the air.

Once she was done it was my turn and Biana's.   See while Biana vanishes I track her.

"5 4 3 2 1," Linh counts down.

Once she reaches 0 Biana disappears and I stretch out my mind looking for thoughts.

I hear that are soft like they are trying to hide.  But I still hear them.

I hope she doesn't hear me!  And if  you are hearing this Sophie I'm Linh!"   I hear Biana's thoughts.

I see the back of my head in her thoughts.  I spin around and tap her,  and she turns visible.

"Nice job!  That was quicker than last time," Biana says.

"Thanks!" I reply.

That's when the boys -Tam, Dex and Wylie- showed up.

"I see that you guys are done with your ability training,"  Dex comments.

"We are," I say.

"Are you guys done?"  Linh asks the boys.
