Fitz's POV
Once my sister told me that I needed to ask Sophie out I was sort of freaking out! I walked up to someone in the dress that Sophie had on.
"Hey are you Sophie?" I ask.
"No. Sorry," she says.
I see a girl with the same dress standing next to a girl with black hair and silver tips.
"Hey are you Sophie by any chance?" I ask the girls.
The girl with black hair giggles and says, "Yeah that's her!" and pushes the girl close to me.
"Hi Sophie mind stepping out for a minute?"
"Sure?" she says sounding unsure.
"Come on!" I grab her hand and pull her out onto the balcony.
"I'm coming! I'm coming!" she says walking behind me.
Once we reach the balcony I turn and face her. "Can you take your mask off?"
"Only if you do!"
"Sure!" I take off my mask and she does to. For the first time tonight I see her gorgeous eyes and I mentally sigh.
"So Fitz why did you bring me out here?"
"I... wanted t-to ask y-you i-i-i-if you wanted to go out with m-m-me?"
Her mouth drops. "Are you serious?"
"No. I came out here to kidnap you and I was stuttering because it is cold."
"Oh."
"I was being sarcastic."
"Oh," she says her voice sounding small.
"Well what do you say? Would you like to go out with me?"
"No."
WAIT WHAT! I thought Biana said she liked me! Oh she said ask her out and I'll find out. She just wanted to embarrass me in front of my only crush.
"I would love to go out with you."
OMG! Inside my head was a mad house. But on the outside I hoped that I looked calm.
"So Friday?"
"How about Saturday?"
"Deal!"
"What should I wear?"
"Something outdoorsy."
"Ok. Have a great rest of your night."
"You to." She goes inside.
"So you and Sophie?" my best friend asks as I walk up to him.
"I hope so."
Sophie's POV
So after I left I put my mask on and started looking for someone I knew. BAM! I ran into someone.
"Oh! Sorry!" I say.
"No problem. Have you seen a girl with black hair with silver tips?" He asks.
"Oh you mean Linh?"
"Yeah!"
"And let me guess you're Wylie?"
"Who's asking?"
"I saw a Moonlark fly by!"
"Ahh Miss. Foster."
"Please call me Sophie."
"So have you seen her?"
"Let me guess you want to ask her out?"
"Yeah why? Is that a problem?"
"No. Or at least not for me. For Tam that might be a different story."
"Oh," he says sounding scared.
"Come on I'll show you."
