Sophie's POV

"WAKE UP!" two voices yelled in my ears.

I shot out of my bed.

"What!  Orge attack?  Is the house on fire?  Is someone dead?  Robber?"  

"What?  No!" Biana says.

Wait Biana?  I look around the room and see Linh as well.

"Then why did you wake me up?"

"To get you ready for your date!" the both say.

"That's not for a few hours......"

"Exactly.  We let you sleep in," Biana says.

"Do you know what you're doing?"  Linh asks.

"No...."

"Good thing I do," Biana says.

"What?"  I ask.

"Just let me dress you up and you'll see."

After a while I end up wearing this:

(White shirt, Black pants.)

And luckily no makeup.  

"Now we have to go, but we expect a full report once you're done."

"I do as well," Edaline says popping her head in.  "He's here.  But you better save him from Grady."

I nod running down the stairs.

"Hey Fitz," I say standing on the bottom step in front of the door.

"Hey Sophie."

"So you think you can date my daughter?"  Grady asks glaring at poor Fitz.

"Yes, sir."

"Good manners.  I guess you can go.  But if I hear one word about you mistreating her -royalty or not- you will regret it."

"Got it sir."

"I would go now before Grady changes his mind," Edaline says.

We both nod.

"Come on," Fitz says grabbing my hand.

He pulls me outside.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"You'll see," he says and holds up a crystal and we light leap to a beautiful garden.

"Welcome to the Palaces secret garden."

"It's beautiful!"  

"That's not all," Fitz says taking my hand and dragging me to a maze.

"I want to go that way!  So you go that way! And we'll see who can make it to the middle first!"

"Ok!"

"3 2 1 Goooo!"  I yell taking off.

As I rush through the green hedges I see a crossroad.

I pause which way? 

I hear heavy breathing coming from the left.  That must be Fitz so I go right instead.

But before I go right I think, I can see the whole maze in the air. So why not levitate so I can see past the walls of plant.

So I focus on my levitating and slowly I'm lifted up in the air.

OK so Fitz is to my left and going right should take me to the next crossroad which I will then need to take lefts from there.

I went right then took many lefts until I finally reached the middle.

But there was Fitz already in the center of the maze!  How'd he get here first!

"I bet you're wondering how I got here first?"

"How'd you know?" 

"I didn't read your mind if that's what you're thinking.  I got here first by some of the short cuts I know."

"So why'd you show me the maze?"

He steps aside to reveal a picnic.

"I love picnics!"

Once we were done with the food the sun was setting.

"Alright it's best if I took you back.  Wouldn't want Grady being mad and not letting me take you out on another date."

"I agree," I say.  Wait did he say 'another date'?
