A/N: So I have just been informed that the briefing room is actually called the War room, and I've been writing it wrong for 12 parts. I'm very sorry if anyone has been confused on what I meant by "briefing room" I will be calling it The War Room from now on. I'm also going to go back and edit it in the previous chapters for new readers

(Sofia POV)

They all stood together in the War Room in an utter awkward silence. The Phoenix on one side and the Firebird on the other.

Sofia clasped her hands behind her back "So are we going to stand here and look at each other all day, or are we actually going to be productive and come up with something?" She asked.

Matty rolled her eyes at her silent team "Before we do anything we need a plan of action to draw them out."

Sofia nodded and motioned to Maia. "Fader and I came up with a start."

"Let's hear it then." Matty responded.

"First thing's first," Maia began "We'd need some sort of way to get a message out to them that the Firebird are no longer under Murdoc's control and are looking to put him down."

"The Ophidea are desperate to get their hands on him after the hell he raised." Sofia added "They'd come running at the chance to put him in the ground."

"Even if that means working with us." Maia finished "The only hard part was how we get the message to them."

"So Riley, I'm going to need my phone back." Sofia told the dark haired hacker.

 "Why?" Riley asked in return.

Sofia rolled her eyes "Because the only way I can think of contacting them is through the Dark Web."

 "The Dark Web?" MacGyver asked.

Adria laughed from behind her "What blondie, do you think a highly concealed criminal operation has some hotline we can call? The only way to communicate with these kinds of people is through cryptic messaging systems or face to face."

MacGyver shook his head "No, I know that. I was just curious as to how Sofia has access to the dark web on her phone."

Sofia rolled her eyes "A phone is a hand computer you idiot. Of course I can access the dark web with it thanks to Firefly. As you well know, a team can't function with out a well trained computer analyst. Aren't you supposed to be some sort of genius or something?" She asked smirking a little.

She smiled in satisfaction when she saw him make a face at her. Holding out her hand, she nodded for Riley to return the device, but the young agent seemed hesitant to do so.

"Sooner is better than later." Sofia told her with a slight edge to her voice.

Riley sighed and handed over the phone. Sofia pressed her thumb against the silver button and the screen flicked on. A picture of her and Dallas lit up the screen, and a pained expression crossed her face.

It wasn't for nothing, I promise.

(Cage POV)

Cage watched as a wave of pain crossed over Sofia's face when her screen turned on. The blonde assassin shook her head and passed her phone to the steel eyed girl on her right "Work your magic Firefly."

After a few minutes of quiet besides the sound of Firefly's fingers tapping away at Sofia's phone, the gray eyed girl gave a satisfied nod. "Alright Spider I'm in." Firefly said handing the phone back to it's owner.
