(MacGyver POV)

"You're sure you know where you're going?" MacGyver asked for the third time. 

Sofia scoffed beside him "Yes. According to the map that Cress hacked to my phone, we are going in the right direction." She said sarcastically. 

MacGyver sighed in exasperation "I just don't want to waste time." 

 Sofia kept walking ahead of him "Don't worry. We'll blow this place to bits one way or another." 

MacGyver shook his head, and continued forward, but stopped when he slammed straight into Sofia's back. "What now?" He hissed. 

Sofia slowly backed into him. "Get back." She whispered, pulling them both against the wall. 

MacGyver held his breath when he heard footsteps and a deadly calm voice cut through the silence. "Alright you. I know you're out there. Come and finish what you started!" It was King. 

Mac saw his sister's body tense, and he gripped her arm, holding her back "Sofia no. You can't." 

Sofia turned around to face him, a fire of determination burning in her eyes again. "Mac, I have to." 

 MacGyver shook his head "No, no you don't." 

 Sofia's expression pained a little "Let's be real Mac. We can't get to the generator with her in our way. Someone needs to buy you time." 

 Mac shook his head again "Then you take it and let me take care of King." 

 Sofia's eyes softened for a moment, and she placed a hand on her brother's shoulder "This isn't your fight Angus. You go. Set your device and get out of here. Go back to Samantha. She needs you. I'll be right behind you." 

 MacGyver was torn, he knew what Sofia was saying was true, but he didn't want to leave her to fight this monster on her own. "Be careful." He finally managed to say. 

Sofia nodded and pulled her arm from his grasp "Once she's distracted, go. Then get out." 

"What if you're in here when the blast goes off?" 

Sofia shrugged "I'll take cover somewhere safe. This isn't my first rodeo with dodging explosions." she took in a breath "Good luck MacGyver. I'm sending you the location of the main power room now. I'll see you soon." Then she turned away from him and slowly made her way towards where King was searching. 

Forcing himself to look away, he clicked open his phone and continued with his plan.

(Sofia POV)

Once again, Sofia found herself confronting the Head of the Ophidia. With each step she took, she could feel herself getting closer and closer to the end. 

"It's time to finish what you started King." 

 The Head turned around. "You may have killed my Diamond and my Mamba. But you won't kill me." 

 Sofia raised an eyebrow "We're about to find out."

The two leaders circled each other. Sofia shook all doubts from her mind. It was now or never. There were no second chances. 

I have one shot to end this. I can't screw it up. 

King made a move as if she were going to pounce, causing Sofia to flinch, but then the older fighter fell back and grinned "Your reaction time's not bad." King said in a silky voice "This will be fun." Then she lunged.
