Emma's pov
I caught him looking at me and I freaked for a couple seconds, unsure of what to do, but I found myself smiling back at him. My heart raced faster and I lost my breath. That feeling came back as it always did when I was with him. He would do the smallest insignificant things and I would fall even harder. I just didn't know if he still felt the same way.
Our moment was interrupted when a guy came in and announced it was time for the boys to go on stage. I followed them out with their instruments wrapped around them and Ashton's drumsticks in his back pocket. They were skipping and fooling around as they made their way to the stage, trying to get the nerves out.
"You ready Irwin?" I asked as we stopped in the wing. The rest of the boys stepped on stage as the crowd cheered.
He was close. So close that I could see every beautiful detail of his face. That goofy smile, his dimples, his eyes, the stuble on his jawline, and his messy hair covering his forehead. I felt him kiss my forehead and my knees grew weak. He didn't say anything. He just smiled at me and looked at me with the same look he had when he played. The same look I would see in a couple seconds when he would step out onto that stage. I realized that I loved him. I realized I had a reason to stay that summer. I didn't need medical camp, I needed Ashton Irwin.
After the concert, we found ourselves squished, one on top of the other in Ashton's car. Luke and Calum shared the back seat with the instruments while Michael and I shared shotgun. I stayed uncomfortably still, hoping not to weird out Michael.
Michael's elbow was digging into my side and I'm pretty sure my butt was on his left leg.
"Well this is a nice way to get to know each other isn't it?" Michael said flirtatiously.
The car swerved making Michael hit his head against the widow.
"Owww! Ashton, keep your eyes on the road." He exclaimed rubbing this temple.
"Whoops. My bad." Ashton said as if it were nothing. I couldn't resist a small smile and Ashton caught it, smiling back at me.
"Anyways Emma. I head you're a nerd." Michael continued to tease Ashton.
"Yeah I have 4 AP classes this year and I hope to graduate with honors." I replied.
"That's nice, but I think you need to live an little. Ashton let's take her to that club we always go to. She needs to learn how to party."
Ashton just started laughing.
"What?" Michael asked confused.
"Ashton I heard there's a party tonight. When I get the call I'll let you guys know." I said trying not to laugh.
"Sounds good, Em." He said giggling.
"Wait, I'm lost." Michael responded.
"Oh not after tonight my friend."

"4562 Seaside Street."
I texted Ashton the address and put my phone in my pocket. I slowly pulled up my window, letting the cold air hit my face. It was so cold I could see my breath. The roof was icy and I had to watch my step. I reached the end and I started to slowly sit when my foot slipped and I fell, landing on top of something.
"AHHH!" I heard Ashton yell from under me.
"Owww." I whimpered as I rolled off of him.
"What happened?" He started laughing.
"I drop in unexpectedly, I thought you would know this by now." I said as I laid on my back letting the pain subside.
Ashton didn't get up either.
"I'll keep that in mind from now on so I don't become your cushion."
"What are you doing here? I thought we were meeting at the party?"
"I thought you would like a ride. To be honest I should have just left you if I would have known this was going to happen." He said joking.
I shot up and punched him in the arm.
"OWW! First you land on me and then you punch. Stop hurting me!" He said laughing. I joined him, laughing so hard I had to hold my stomach.
"I'm sorry." I said smiling as I stood up. I gave him a hand, and he stood up slowly.
"No it's ok. It wasn't too bad." He returned the smile. Just as I saw those dimples my heart started to race and the feeling I knew too well came back.
"Come on. We have a party to get too."
We walked over to his car where the rest of the boys were arguing.
"Luke I swear if you don't stop moving I'm leaving you here."
"Calum please stop touching me!"
"Michael I do not appreciate that tone of voice."
Ashton just shook his head giggling at the ridiculousness of what ever they were talking about. Again I sat on top of Michael.
"You ready to party!?" Michael yelled throwing his arms up.
"I think the real question is are you ready?" I replied as sassy as I could.
The boys responded with ohhhhhs and he just sat back and rolled his eyes.
When we got there the party was in full swing, both inside and out. The house was a mansion.
"Whoa." Michael stopped and stared.
"Try and keep up." I said leading them inside.
I grabbed everyone a cup of who knows what. I chugged mine down, scrunching my nose up since it burned a little.
"Ok why are you so good at this? I thought you were a nerd." Michael asked after finishing his drink.
"Good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught." was all I said and his eyes grew wide with surprise. He turned to Ashton and whacked his arm.
"Oww? Why'd you hit me for?'
"The song was about her? Are all the songs about her?"
There were more songs about me? I looked at Ashton waiting for reply but he didn't know what to say. I didn't know he was writing songs about me. I didn't know what to say either.
"Michael you idiot come here." Calum said trying to fix the situation. They left us alone and we kinda just stood there, unsure of what to do or say. My heart was beating so loud, I couldn't hear or think.
"You wrote songs about me?" I decided to ask. I asked so softly I didn't think he heard me, but he answered, "Yeah. I told you, you're good inspiration."
"What happened to 'it's a one time thing'?" I raised my eye brows.
"There's more to you than just one song, Em." he shrugged.
"I want to hear them."
"You will when the EP comes out." He replied with a smile.
"And when will that be?"
"In two weeks."
"Can't wait to hear it."
Man I love Michael. He's just awesome. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this part. Please don't hesitate to comment or vote. I'd appreciate it. Love you guys.
