Emma's pov

I didn't get it. He came all this way to tell me to leave?

"No." I surprised myself.

He stopped walking.

"You came all this way just to leave again? "

He turned around to face me, speechless.

"You came back because you care. That's why you're telling me to leave. Well, I still care too. That's why I'm going with you." I had no idea what I was doing. None. My hands were shaking and my heart was going so fast I thought it would explode, but I had to find a way to stay together. I couldn't let this go on like it was. Both of us caring on opposite side of the continent. We were going to do this right this time.

"I'll come with you and then I'll go the Africa. Finding ourselves doesn't have to mean we leave each on bad terms, Irwin."

He still didn't say anything and I was starting to get annoyed.

"God Irwin, you always talk so much and the one time I want you to say something yo-" But I didn't finish. He pulled me in and kissed me. I was so shocked that for a few seconds I just stood there, unable to move. He pulled apart to look at me.

"You ok?" He whispered.

I didn't answer. I reconnected our lips and nothing felt better than to have him so close.

And so our adventure began.

"And not to rush you or anything, but I have a show in about 3 hours so we need to go."

"You are always late to everyhting!" I yelled at him as I tore off my apron and hairnet. The three of us ran out and jumped into the car.
"I need to get home to get some clothes." I said as I buckled up.

"I can't belive we're going to be late." Michael shook his head.

"You should have slapped some sense into him!" I turned around to face him.

"I was promised pizza so I had no choice!!!" He said all sassy.

"Guys this is no time to arugue we have to go!!!" Ashton yelled as we pulled up to my house. I jumped out even before Ashton stopped the car and I ran up to my room and shoved random clothes into my backpack. I ran back out and jumped back into the car.

"To the hospital!" I yelled.

"We are so screwed!!!" Ashton yelled as he floored it.

"We're going to make it!"

"How do you know!" Ashton rasised his voice.

"I'm just trying to be optimistic!" I yelled back, holding in my laugh.

"Why the fuck are we yelling!!!!" Michael screamed as I jumped out of the car. I laughed as I ran through the door and up the stairs. The elevators would take way too long. I burst into my dad's room out of breath and with burning legs.

"Emma what's wrong?! Are you ok?" My dad sat up concerened.

"I got the trip to Africa." I managed to say as I was wheezing.

"That's great....is that why you were running?" He asked confused.

"Oh no. I need to tell you something. I'm not asking you for permission because I'm going whether you let me or not. I'm going on a last minute adventure before I go to Africa. I need this last minute adventure as much as I need the trip to Africa. I'm going on tour with Ashton and his band. I really want this dad. It's important to me."

He sat there quietly, taking in my request. Every passing second was agony, but he looked up at me.

"Go." He said with a smile.

"Thank you so much! I'll be back soon! I love you!" I said as I ran up and kissed him on the cheek.

"I love you too." he replied as I ran out the door. I took the stairs again, and sprinted through the lobby into the parking lot. I literally dove into Ashton's car and he floored it, sending us racing down the road.

I looked over at Ashton and he was worried, his fingers impatiently tapping the steering wheel. His eyes were glued to the road. After so much rushing and running, I finally had moment to thing about everything.

I was in a car with Ashton Iwin and Michael Clifford.

I was going on tour with them for a whole week.

I was nervous, not knowing what t expect. Ashton and I weren't exactly back to normal or fixed, but I was excited.

Ashton's pov

Since we were in the car together, I thought there was no better time to talk about everything.

"So you still smoke?" I asked.

"No, I quit a while ago."

"That's good." I replied awkwardly.

"How have you been these past few months?" She asked.

"The truth?....like hell."

"Me too." I looked at her and she was holing in tears.

"I'm sorry." She aplogized. For what, I wasn't exacly surre. Maybe for all of it. But I had to apologize too. We both made mistakes.

"I'm sorry too."

And just like that a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders and the mood lightened instantly. Slowly, it started feeling normal again, especially becasue she still gave the same fucking feeling, even after all this time. My heart was racing and I was so nervous, yet happy at the same time.
