Midoriya's POV

The front door slammed open. "ACK!" I jumped to my feet. Winter and our two teachers stood there. "W-Winter, what-" "Vacation's over." She snarled, an icy glare in her eyes that scared me more than anything I had seen before. "What're you talking about?" Kirishima frowned. "And where's Todoroki? We've not seen him since we got back!" Kaminari added. "He's been attacked." She growled. "WHAT?!"

Winter quickly explained everything that had happened. "There's a villain in the ocean?!" Ururaka gasped. "There was. I don't know if they're still there. Forget about that though. That's not why I'm here." Winter grunted, stepping to the side. All Might changed into his hero form.

This must be serious...

I realized. "Midoriya, you remember Mirio and Sir?" He asked me. I nodded.

My job there suddenly stopped out of no where.

I remembered. "They as well as the rest of the Big 3 have been kidnapped. I didn't want to tell any of you, but we have no choice now." He continued on to explain about Overhaul and the League of Villains. "Why are you telling us this? We're just students! Shouldn't the pros handle this?!" Mineta screeched. "Because. You are no longer students. Until the villains come for the people of this planet, you'll be training. Not just to be heroes, but to be pros. So get ready."

Little did I know our whole world was about to turn upside-down.

Winter's POV

"Dude, I am so sorry for what I'm about to do." I apologized. Todoroki looked at me in confusion. It had been two weeks since we were announced P.I.Ts, or Pros-In-Training. "Sato, Bakugo, you got him pinned down?" I asked. They nodded. "Again. So sorry for this..." I trailed off. I had found a plant that would cure whatever this poison was at the bottom of the sea. I don't know how or why I found it, but Midoriya had learned about the cure coming from a cold-water plant during his time with Sir. However the only way to use the plant was to crush it into a pulp, and spread it around directly under the skin, yet deep enough that if you had a cut you'd be bleeding badly. Apparently it burned like hell. "Try not to look." I muttered to the three, picking up a small knife.

Bakugo's POV

I wished I had listened to Winter the second she told us not to look. But for whatever reason, I didn't. I watched as she made an incision on our classmate. His cries made it obvious how disgustingly painful it was. I tried to block out the sounds by distracting myself. However there wasn't much I could do other than keep him still.

Damnit, Half and Half, I'm sorry.

I shut my eyes. He only screamed and thrashed more as Winter put the crushed up plant in place. Finally, after what seemed like forever, he fell still. "Why didn't you knock him out?!" I snapped, standing up. "Because! I have no way of monitoring him! If he had been unconscious and something was wrong, I wouldn't have known!" She retorted. "How'd you get the incisions to stay together?" Sato questioned. "I used a blowtorch." Winter sighed. I felt nauseous at the thought.

I always act tough, but hearing or seeing something in that much pain just messes me up.

I shuddered, glancing at my friend. He was laying still, breathing heavily. "You two can go if you want. Anyone that wants to come in is welcome to." Winter said. I nodded, quickly leaving the guest house. Once Sato was outside and the door had shut, I looked up. The entire class was staring at us. "What did she do to him?!" Kirishima worried. "You don't want to know." I muttered. "Winter said go in if you want to though. There's nothing else left to do, so..." I kicked some snow, walking off.

Winter's POV

Midoriya, Kirishima, Iida and Ochaco were the first to come in. "Hey." I spoke softly. "How is he?" Midoriya looked at his friend sadly. "Asleep, luckily. Honestly, I'm not even sure how he managed to fall asleep. He's in tremendous pain." I sighed. "Do you know how long it'll take for the plant to start working?" I asked. Midoriya shook his head. "I hope it'll work soon. We need everyone as strong and well as possible." Iida said. "I know. As soon as he's strong enough to get out and do some training, we'll meet up with you all." I promised. The four nodded, heading back outside. "Hey Winter?" I looked up. "You'll be okay, right?" Kirishima seemed worried. "Me? I'm not the one you should be worried about." I chuckled. "I am though." "Why?" "Because. I uh... I-I never had the courage to tell you this, but... I knew who you were the second you walked in our classroom." He looked away shyly. "How-" "M-My mama... she... she uh... s-she... died..." He lowered his gaze to the floor. "It happened when I was about four... my old man came home, told the sitter she was free to go, and sat down in front of me. I asked where mama was, and he said that a couple villains had... gotten to her..." I knew exactly where this was going. "I didn't know many villains, so I asked who they were, and he said..." My classmate looked at me with a certain grief and uncertainty. Something I had seen many times before. "It was Insanity and Death Row, wasn't it?" I sighed. He nodded. "I know how upset you get when they're brought up, so... I wanted to make sure you were gonna be okay." He explained. I smiled. "I'll be fine." "You promise?" "I promise."
