"class, we have a new student joining us today," the principal announces so i'm quick to put my phone away. i look up to see a tall guy standing in front of us. he has black hair, a little of facial hair, a bit of acne, he was white, and he had a great smile from what i just seen. "his name is jonathan,"i hate to admit but he was actually good looking so i can understand why some guys and girls are freaking out of where he will sit.

"you'll sit next to charlie," they say to the new kid was sitting next to charlie which meant charlie was in the middle.

"so," jonathan says awkwardly

"i'm rose," i introduced myself to him.

he just smiles at me.charlie just rolls at his eyes at me after i introduced myself to jonathan. "already hitting on him? you're unpredictable." charlie scoffed at me "lia, just got back," i can see jonathan just turning red and pretends he didn't hear anything.

i get that charlie is pissed but what the fuck? lia is in the past now and i hope to never go back to her. i don't need to feel more of an idiot.

"fuck off. lia is in the past jesus charlie i bet you know what happened with her 2 weeks ago," i tell charliehe is quick to look at me confused.

"go ask your best friend," i get up from my seat and move all the way in the back

i see jonathan taking out his books out of his locker. "hey, i'm sorry about what charlie said," i tell him

"don't mind what?" i asked him
