chapter 25

rose;

"come over here baby," ethan tells me right after we both finished. i go over to him and we both cuddle in each other's arms. i was the little spoon. i can feel my eyelids feeling heavy wanting to just close.

i liked the way ethan would hold me after we finished having sex. the way he would tuck my hair behind my ear and play with my hair at the same time putting me to sleep.

ethan had things he never really showed and i was glad i got to see that side to him. i turn around to face ethan and look at him. our noses were touching and so were our foreheads, i smile at him. before even thinking it through the next thing i know is i'm kissing him. it was a kiss with lust or desire for him to fuck me again, but for passion. his hands were cupping my cheeks and continued to kiss me back. i couldn't help but snake my hands around his neck.

the kissing felt like it was going on forever and i didn't seem to mind. it felt different from other times, i was okay with the feeling i was receiving.this isn't what you want, you need control my head kept throwing negative thoughts at me all at once making me feel terrible about enjoying the kiss, so i pull away.

"are you okay?" he asked looking at me confused. his lips still looked pretty cute of how swollen and pink they were, i did that.

"yeah, i just need to shower," i said back with no expression in my voice.

he can tell something is wrong but how can i tell him it's my head. i get off of bed and walk into the shower room. once i finally close the door shut i just walked into the shower. once the water finally was on hitting against my bare skin, i start to cry.

the water kept running down the drain just the same way my tears were. i don't know why i have such a hard time processing things right now, i shouldn't want to cry because of a meaningless kiss?was it really?

"rose?" i asked as i knocked on the bathroom door. i only heard the water running and the door felt hot. "rose?" i called out her namethe water stops.

"yeah?" she finally answered back. my heart finally stopped beating so fast, i got scared for a minute that something happened to her.

"sorry, i just got- i mean i need to use the restroom," i fake cough

she opens up the door and she was in a towel. "rose, there is blood running down your leg, did something happen or it's your period?" i asked bluntly, i wasn't going to act like i didn't know what girls get every month or that they have to menstruate.

"my period," she groans "fuck," she mumbled

"do you want me to go buy you-," i didn't finish because i didn't know what she used.

"tampons, please," she shoots an awkward smile at me. i nod at her.

once i was inside the store i start looking for the isle where they had tampons and pads. i finally find them but i didn't know what to get her. there was so many brands, different colors, and prices. "do you need help?" a lady came up to meher tag read emily

"yeah," i said with an awkward nod as i scratched the back of my neck.

"i don't know what to get her," i chuckled

"well, does she use pads or tampons?" she asked me

"tampons," i answered and she nods looking back at the products.

she crouched down reading them nonstop. "i find it very kind of you getting your girlfriend tampons, my husband doesn't even like to," she laughed and i laughed awkwardly with her. "here," she hands me a pack of tampons

"thank you," i smiled back at her

"i'm supposed to had you the most expensive brand but between you and me those will do her better." she smiled
"is that all?"

"again thank you,emily," she smiles at me telling me you welcome and ends up leaving.i go around looking what else to buy for her. i'm quick to notice the nail polish display they had. rose doesn't paint her nails so i thought to buy some, i don't even know her favorite color.

@ethandolan: hey what's your favorite color

@rosesucks: red and black, why?

@ethandolan: just

i pick those two colors and put them in the basket. finally after walking around in the store i go to the cash register. "hi, welcome to walgreens did you find everything you needed?" a guy said with a smile but with his tone of voice you can hear how tired he was.

"uh yeah," i said i look at him and he just past the things through the scanner. is that?no. grayson"do you know who i am?" i blurt out and he looks up at me confused.

he was already done scanning things and i was pretending as if people weren't standing behind me to pay."no," he said.

ouch."i'm ethan," i said, leaving out the i'm your twin brother part. "i texted you on instagram and you just stopped replying," i told him trying to get him to recognize me but all i did was make his face turn red.

"oh, sorry, i've been just really busy," he shrugged

"but how do you know me?" he asked

"can you pay already?" the girl behind me says with such annoyance in her voice.

"it's going to be $13.78," i take out my money and hand it to him.

"here is your change,"i leave with my things and i looked back to see if he even bothered to see me leave but he didn't. all i can think right now is i just met my brother

"rose?" i knock on the hotels door. she comes running and opens it with a huge grin on her face. "here," i hand her the box of tampons.she goes to the bathroom and does her thing.

@graysondolan:  my dad told me about you

@ethandolan:  then why did you lie?

@graysondolan: i didn't expect to ever meet you, i'm sorry but i'll talk to you later i have to get back to work

i put my hand back on the nights stand and finally rose came out the bathroom. "can i paint your nails?" i asked her as soon as she walked out.

she looked at me confused."sure?" she saidi take out the black and red nail polish.

"this is my first time so i won't be perfect," we both laughed. i open it attempting to paint her nails but the very first try i get it on her fingertips. "rose, stop moving," i laughed nonstop

"excuses, i'm not even moving you just can't do it right," she teased back.
