chapter 33 / don't play song (11 minutes by yungblud ft. halsey)

recap: ethan has been trying to find rose to apologize but she didn't go to school. charlie told ethan to just leave her alone. rose finally opens up to her mom about how's been feeling about the breakup with lia and now the thing with ethan. her mom tells her to just talk to ethan and if it doesn't end well then she gave him a change and blew so she try to move on.

ethan;

i knock on rose's door hoping she was at least home so i can talk to her. this guilt inside of me has been killing me for the last 3 days. i don't even want to imagine how she's been doing.

you think she's affected by you? you're delusional

my negative thoughts start to cloud in my head making me turn back around but the door opens. "hi, ethan right?" rose moms opens the door looking at me with a smile

she knows what you did, there is no going back now

"yeah, i was hoping to speak to rose. i noticed she didn't go to school and.." but she tells me i can go in and talk to her.

i walk to her room remembering the times she's sneaked me in here having her parents think i was here for the first time when i was over for dinner. i've been here many times to know where the rooms are at, the bathroom, kitchen, living room, and the basement. it didn't take that long to remember since i was always here with her.

most of the time it was to have sex that we needed from each other. i wanted sex with no strings attached on my terms. she needed control from someone else making the decisions even if it meant how i was going to make her come.

there she lied on the bed looking at me with lust. i make my way to her watching her grow inpatient for me. she's quick to jump onto me smashing her lips with mine. "i want you," she says in between breaths

i pull away rubbing my thumb over her bottom lip. "lie down," i tell her and she nods looking at me with a smile. we both knew what was needed to be done but i had to come up with something she wouldn't see coming

i tug at her jeans basically saying i needed for them to be off already. she doesn't hesitate in taking them off quickly. i place my hands on both her things already making her gasp by my sudden touch. i decided to tease her a little by rubbing her through the fabrics of her underwear feeling how wet she was getting for me.

"what do you want," i asked her still rubbing her as she bites down on her bottom lip

"touch me" she says and i grant it. i pull down her underwear sliding it off her legs. i insert one finger inside of her and she's quick to respond to me.

it was the day i just touched her using my hands making her look at herself through the mirrors in her room.

i get to her room knocking at her door but she wasn't able to hear anything because of the loud music blaring. "rose," i speak up but no response all i can hear is her singing

"i'm 11 minutes away and i have missed you all day, i'm 11 minutes away so why aren't you here?" she sang and i instantly knew it was halsey because it was all she listened to besides the weeknd when we were in my car.

i feel like him in the video trying to undo something as if it's going to change anything i said to her. no matter how many times i try to make speeches in my head about what i'm going to say to her i'll freeze.
