Will it ever end?
The fighting and screaming
In my head it's so loud
Out in the hall the voices
Echoing off the walls
Shattering the windows and escape
into the streets others can't hear it
But it reverberates in the house in my
Mind is hurt, clenching
My teeth hurt from gripping so firmly
My hands are losing their grip- getting weak
Something I won't admit that my bruises-
My scars, only tell the tales these words
inflicted selfishlyMy soul is cracking, bleeding, seeping
Into exposure I'd never want to go but here
I'm falling into pieces- grabbing
Broken fragments on the floor is all I am
Anymore deadly words you want me
To hold the knife you put into my hands but
don't expect me to have
Used is what you labelled me when
You threw me to the wolves that became
My family I don't have- never hadSo while the tiger and the lion are more powerful
It's the wolf
that doesn't perform in the circus.
