Let's be honest
Some words never
Need to be said. You
Think you sound quite clever
Cutting me down with your
Words. These scars I have
Are new to you maybe, but
To me they're a never ending story
A book that cant closeYou think I can't get enough
I don't understand your words
So you give me another dose
But I'm fed upCan't you see this blood
On my hands- in my heart
I'm hurting
Bleeding out and dying
Slowly. This life I live you say
It's not worth living
You may be right, you may-
Be saying I'm not worthy
Not enough
I'll never live up
To your expectationsBut here.
Look at me now
I'm on my own without
You holding me down
I'm climbing the latter to my
Destiny. It's not on the ground
Where you put me, it's
In the sky among the starsSo here's my letter saying
Goodbye and thank you
For teaching me I wasn't
Enough. I'm done
With your words, you
Created a hole in my chest
So don't be surprised when
You read these words: rest
In peace.
