Daniella absolutely hated homework, yet sitting next to Arina, deciphering pages and pages of nonsense didn't seem so bad. Arina didn't even seem to mind Daniella's idle humming, either that or she was just too polite to say anything. Daniella decided to stop humming.

Her eyes began to glaze over, words turned into alphabet soup. Daniella groaned and looked over her shoulder at the clock, anything to rest her eyes.

"Oh shit!" She exclaimed, Arina gave a frightened yelp, jumping a little.

"W-what? What happened?!" She asked restlessly. Daniella stared down at the homework, then back at the clock, biting her lip.

"Maths is up next! We need to hand in this assignment in-" Daniella turned back to the clock and gasped. "FIVE MINUTES!"

Arina seized up, leaping out of her seat! Daniella froze, expecting her to start freaking out and kicking herself for making such a big deal out of it in the first place. Much to her surprise though, Arina didn't looked freaked out at all. In fact she seemed almost calm. She walked around the library, checking the clock then poking her head outside the door, a smile grew on her face as she slid back in and stared at Daniella.

"What?" Daniella asked confused.

"Do you know any hypnosis spells?" She asked with a grin, Daniella was taken aback.

"Uh- I guess-? Yes, I do. But, why?" She answered, baffled by her request.

"Brilliant! Alright we don't have much time so listen up." Arina spoke clearly, commanding Daniella's attention.

Daniella looked Arina up and down, she was focused... The gears in her brain turning like clockwork. No stutter, no shaking, no hesitation. It was a side of her she'd never seen before...

Arina pulled out her sketchbook and quickly drew up a crudley drawn map of the school. Slamming her pencil down she circled the library, then the classroom.

"Alright, between here and here there's a bunch of students between classes, correct?"

"U-uh, yes! Correct!" Daniella nodded along cluelessly.

Arina grinned, grabbing Daniella by the arm she dragged her to the door.
"Open the door and sing." She instructed.

"W-what-?"

"I'll finish the work, then grab you and run to the classroom! It should only take about a minute. You need to sing to distract everyone so they don't notice two girls running at the speed of sound. Can you do it?"

Daniella stared at her blankly for a moment, taking in what she said Daniella laughed at the absurdity of her plan, though she had to admit, it did seem likely to work. Standing up tall she saluted Arina.

"YES MA'AM!"

"ROLL OUT TEAM!" Arina yelled, jumping back into her seat she scanned the pages with incredible speed, smoke bellowing off her pencil as she wrote down the answers!

Daniella ran out the door, looking around at all the students, most of them on their phones or talking to friends. If they turned around as Arina sprinted from the library to class they'd be done for, Daniella needed to get everyone under her spell. Grasping the doorknob in her hand she slammed the library door as hard as she could! The harsh sound echoed through the school, making several students jump! They all had eyes on Daniella, this was her chance.

She took a deep breath, nerves raked up her throat, it'd been so long since she'd done this... And with such a large crowd! But now wasn't the time for fear, Daniella closed her eyes and sung out a note, loud and long, in one foul swoop the students were mesmerised, she carried on her tune, opening her eyes to see 20 students staring blissfully in her direction, their eyes huge whirlpools of nothingness...
