Author's note: So this song is a bit more out of place than the rest of the one's I've linked, but it was the inspiration for the main focus of this chapter, so... Enjoy XD

Arina stared deep into those eyes, almost identical to her own, shocked and searching for something... She couldn't speak, she longed to pry her eyes away enough to get a better look at her, that familiar mess of curly hair, the cool grin that every now then would part into a beaming smile that fit her so well. But she couldn't. Neither could Daniella, they just stared until at last Arina mustered up the courage to speak.

"You're just like me." She mused, leaning back as Daniella echoed back the same words.

"Hey!" They mirrored, once again speaking in unison. Dissolving into giggles, Arina put a hand in front of her mouth and gestured for Daniella to speak freely.

"S-so you, you're-" She seemed to struggle to get the words out. Arina took initiative and nodded, knowing what she was going to say.

"W-wow, oh man, this is... This is a lot." She sighed, looking down at the ground for a moment to catch a breath.

"Y-yeah, no kidding!" Arina replied, biting her lip as her stutter returned. "I-I mean, for years I thought I was the only one! And now- Now, you of all people... Oh-! I don't mean it that way! I mean, I just never would have thought... What are the chances, right?" She rambled, the sides of her mouth rising into a giddy smile, growing wider with every word. Her heart was racing a mile a minute, skipping every second beat, she wasn't alone... SHE WASN'T ALONE! Bobbing up and down on her toes, Arina could barely contain her excitement!

A thought came into Arina's head, her face scrunched up as she stood awkwardly for a moment. "So... Do you want me to untie you, or...?"

Daniella jolted slightly, blushing. "O-oh! Uh- Yes, yes please..." Arina walked over and untied her hands from the pole, Daniella shook her hands out and winced. They had turned slightly blue from the blood rushing down her arms.

"You alright?" Arina asked concerned, Daniella sighed a second time.

"Yeah, I'll be okay. Thanks for the rescue, A-Arina..." Daniella stumbled on her name, like it felt wrong or out of place to say it. She didn't blame her.

"Uh, so, how did you end up like that?" Arina asked curiously, "Were you knocked out and kidnapped?!" She started to worry for a moment, before an embarrassed look from Daniella calmed her nerves.

"I- um, I tried to do a spinny kick move and overdid it with the spinny..." She replied in a mumble. Arina covered her mouth as she choked back laughter. Daniella looked away in a huff.

"Don't even try and hide it, I know you're laughing at me." Arina froze at her serious tone, but relaxed as a small smirk formed across Daniella's face. Arina put her hand down and went into hysterics. Daniella laughed as well, getting up off the ground and wrapping the red fabric, (previously around her wrists) around her neck instead.

"So, did Rose lead you here?" Daniella asked, Arina found herself shrinking down a little in her presence now she was standing up tall.

"I don't know, I've only heard that name once. But I got this note, it appeared out of nowhere! And it said: She needs help. And then a blue Rose appeared and I was teleported! It's been a pretty weird day..." Arina replied, Daniella eyed her curious as she told her story.

"That's how I got here too... Well, the teleporting bit anyway. My note had a bit more on it than yours. But, I don't get it... Why would Rose want you to help me?"

"I-I don't know. But, hey! Now that we've found each other, maybe we could figure it out... Together?" Arina smiled, her heart stopped, lingering in a hopeful silence as Daniella hesitated to reply. Her smile dropped as Daniella's grin turned into a pained frown, her shoulders slumped and she looked away from her.

"Thanks for saving me, but I should get going." She said into the air away from Arina.

Daniella started walking away and Arina choked on any reply she was about to give, trying to step forward but her legs wouldn't move. Her heart started up again, fast. She rocked back and forth on the spot, no, NO! This wasn't happening! Not when she just found someone she could relate to, someone who would understand her, someone who could finally, FINALLY be her friend!

"WAIT!" She yelled desperately as Daniella neared the ladder. She turned around, refusing to make eye contact. "Y-you can't leave, please! I can help you!"

Daniella just shook her head. "Sorry Arina, I appreciate the offer, but I don't need help."

"YEAH RIGHT!" She scoffed angrily, taking a few steps towards her. "Sorry Daniella, I understand your decline, but didn't I just find you tied to a pole moments away from becoming spider food? Or was that a different frizzy haired superhero."

Daniella crossed her arms, "Hey, I could have gotten out of that!"

Arina gave her a look, and rolled her eyes. "I'm sure."

"Alright, fine! Okay! Maybe I did need a hand, but that's it. Just a hand, just a one time thing!"

Arina felt a fire inside her, how could she be reacting this way? Surely she was lonely to!
"B-but why? I know, this is all... A lot. It's scary, but, Daniella I know that if you let me help you I could-!"

"NO! I DON'T NEED HELP. OKAY? JUST GO AWAY!" Daniella screamed at last, despite how much Arina was trying to catch her gaze, once Daniella finally did make eye contact she wished she hadn't, her eyes were fuming, staring daggers at her. Behind the anger, Arina saw something. Fear. Tears welling up in her eyes, though she tried to hide them.

"No, p-please..." Arina muttered in a barely audible whisper. Daniella was climbing down the ladder. She'd likely try and ignore her forever after this, her one chance was fading out of view and there was nothing she could do about it. "W-wait-!" She choked on tears, dropping to her knees, wincing as panic rose up from her chest to her throat.

"Please, Daniella-! D-DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE!"
