Chapter 22: Battle

Author's Note: sorry this took so long to write. I got super busy with coursework DX buuut this is a super long chapter so enjoy!

A woman dressed all in black, an aura of darkness consuming all but the brief flickering of the train lights. An everlong shadow crept up behind her, tracing the walls and creeping up the ceiling towards the girls. The only colour in that deep, dark side of the train, was a flash of light blue silk that lined the insides of her cloak, and two piercing blue eyes that cut through the dark with a micivious gleam.

"Rose." Daniella stated, gulping at the threating sight before her.

"You remembered! Aw! I'm flattered." Rose smiled gleefully, clapping her hands in delight, Daniella rolled her eyes.

"What so you want with us?!" Arina demanded, shakily getting up from her unpleasant fall.

"None of your business. Now, LETS GET THIS SHOW BACK ON THE ROAD!" Rose exclaimed, lifting her hands in the air she cackled a laugh that echoed and bounced off the thick metal walls.

A gleam of blue sparked from her hands, running through her fingertips she grinned wide and slammed her hand on wall, electric blue scorching where her hand rest but she didn't flinch. A clank followed by a soft hum and suddenly the train was running again and only gaining speed!

"ARINA!" Daniella screamed as she yelped, falling backwards she braced for impact before feeling a hand clasping her arm tight! She opened her eyes to see Daniella staring wide eyed and concerned, heart beating quick she gave a nod and got to her feet.

"YOU HAVE TO STOP THIS TRAIN!" Arina yelled furiously, grasping onto the poll tightly, a few inches from Daniella who did the same.

Rose sighed deeply, shook her hand out and frowned. "And why is that?"

"We're going to crash into a station! Or another train! Or go too fast we fly off the rails and into a building! Someone is going to get hurt." She stated firmly, not letting her eyes drift away until the last second, she gazed over at Daniella for assurance, Daniella smiled like a proud parent, giving her two thumbs up Arina had to reach out and grab her by the collar to stop her from plummeting to the ground.

The gleam in Rose's eye flickered a little, she gave a soft sigh and placed a hand on her hip. "I'm not going to kill innocents. What do you think I am, evil?"

Arina looked puzzled, Daniella did too. "You seemed pretty ready to blow up a school full of innocents a week ago. Explain that, Miss 'Not Evil'." Daniella spat back. Arina stared at Daniella shocked, never hearing Daniella's side of that night before. She cut her confused expression with a quickly formed arm cross, directed harshly at Rose.

Rose stepped back, her face morphed startled for no longer than a moment, but a moment long enough for Daniella to notice. "I-" Rose squeaked, huffing angrily she stomped a foot on the ground, standing tall her shadow reached further and further towards them, lowering her head she clenched her fists.

"Enough talk." She growled.

"That's a first." Daniella grinned, giddy with pride that she'd managed to render Rose speechless.

"U-uh- YEAH!" Arina cheered, having no idea what what was going on.

Rose rolled her eyes, she shook her head quickly and looked back up with her signature smirk. "Right, anyway," She smiled, "let's begin."

Rose walked slowly towards them, bracing for an attack Daniella and Arina tapped a finger on their gems, power running through them as they transformed. Daniella eyed Rose cautiously as she edged closer, the ends of her cloak trailing along the ground, the air was quiet and tense; cut only by the wind pelting against the train, rails squeaking, the carriage rocked, Daniella and Arina held on for dear life like socks in a dryer yet Rose just kept walking, unaffected.
