She had met him only once, yet she couldn't stop thinking about him. Even when she was with her boyfriend, Archie Andrews, her thoughts were with that mystery boy.

That raven haired dude that had talked to her, comforted her when she needed it the most, without even knowing who the hell she was.

"What you thinking about Betty?" Archie asked his blonde girlfriend, noticing how her mind was absent from the world.

"Nothing." Betty shrugged the question away and started playing with her pink painted nails.

Her eyes fell onto a picture that was loosely lying around on her boyfriend's floor. "Who's that?" She asked, pointing to the boy on the picture next to Archie.

She had immediately recognised him as the mystery guy she was looking for eversince his hand touched hers and his words were printed in her mind.

"Jughead, just a friend from when I was younger." Betty frowned her face at that name. It was odd but in a way it fitted him.

"Do you still see him sometimes?" Betty realised the fact that her questions were kind of intruding but no matter what it took, she needed to see him again.

"Not much, he lives on the southside now in some old trailer. Why do you ask?" Archie answered, being the fitting boyfriend as he was.

Everyone had always told Betty how perfect Archie was for her, how they'd get married and have children. Yet Betty never really believed it. Sure, she loved Archie, but he didn't give her chills, none of those always promised butterflies appeared in her stomach when he entered the room.

He felt like someone she could trust and someone she could rely on, but not someone she'd wanna marry some day.

"No reason." Betty replied, again quickly avoiding his questions.

It was only a few minutes later when Betty told him how she had to go home already since she promised her mother. Yet that was very, very untrue.

All she wanted to do was visit him, hear his voice again and feel his gentle touch on her skin. The thought solely made her skin shiver.

Archie let Betty out of his house, pressing one last kiss on her pink lips.
"See you tomorrow, love you." He told her.

"Love you too, bye." Betty had responded quickly and let Archie close the door behind her.

She wrapped her brown jacket tight around her body, throwing the cold shivers away from her. Her hands held her sleeves, regaining as much warmth as she could possibly feel.

The sharp wind made her face create a slight colour of red as she stepped through the empty streets.

It wasn't very late, Riverdale was just a quiet town with not many inhabitants.

When Archie had told Betty that Jughead lived in an old trailer, she knew where to go. There was one trailerpark on the southside where most of those Serpents lived. She could probably just ask which one was Jughead's.

The cold wind slowered her rush into seeing him, but finally she reached her longing destination. Her eyes darted around the park filled with ugly, old trailers.

They seemed cheap and abandoned, and the realisation that he lived in one of those gave her an heartwrenching pain.

She got her courage together and went to knock on the first door of one of the many trailers. Betty was not a girl to be spontaneous, yet now she felt like Jughead could be on the other side of the ocean and she'd still fly to wherever he was.

"Hello?" A girl answered the door, she had long brown hair with bits of pink in it. Her skin was lightly tanned and she had a leather jacket wrapped around her thin body.

Betty smiled kindly. "Hello, I'm sorry to bother you but I'm searching for someone named Jughead, do you happen to know where he lives?" Betty's voice was hopeful, yet as kind as ever.

The pastel haired girl scanned Betty's body with her eyes and gave her a slight narrow of eyebrows before nodding. "Yeah.." She answered, her voice still unsure and clearly confused. "It's the last trailer on the right."

Betty breathed out a sigh of relievement and thanked the pretty girl before walking towards Jughead's trailer. Just before she wanted to knock on the door, it was opened by a certain raven haired.

Their eyes met, and in the flick of a second they both knew who they stood face to face with. Whatever she had felt, he had felt it too.

"Hey." Betty breathed out after the lingering of a silence.

"Hey." His response was similar to her greeting. They stood there, in the chilling wind only one feet apart from each other.

The shimmer of the now dark sky made them unable to see each other properly, but good enough to see that they've both felt the same.

"I just.. I couldn't stop thinking about you." Betty admitted, still mesmerised by his eyes and lack of confidence.

Jughead felt weird, he was Serpent king for God's sake but this girl made his body feel like jelly and all his power went worthless. "It's stupid I know, we've only seen each other once. You just-" Jughead didn't give Betty the chance to finish her sentence when his lips broke her off.

He had cupped her face in his hands and crashed his lips on hers. Her hands instantly went to grasp his black locks on the back of his head.

Their lips moved over each other slowly, enjoying every single second of it. His taste stopped all her senses and gave her the feeling as if she was flying.

It made everything around them dissappear. After a matter of seconds he slowly released their lips, ending it with a soft sound of two lips seperating.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, looking guilty at her bright eyes. An even redder blush crept upon her already red cheeks.

"Don't be." She breathed out deeply while her lips attacked his again. Her sudden move made him stumble inside the trailer with their lips in collision.

She jumped up slightly, causing him to place his hands under her ass and lifting her. She had her hands caressing his cheeks while his tongue forced its way inside her mouth.

With his hands still underneath her ass he brought her to the kitchen, placing her rudely on the counter. She moaned when his lips started to explore her neck, sucking and biting at the smooth skin.

"Jughead." She moaned, crossing her legs behind his back, pulling him closer to her.

Their eyes met for a split second which made them both see the other's idiotic bright smile and the feeling of pleasure.

And just like that, on their second meeting, with her having a boyfriend, without him even knowing her name, they made love. They continued until she collapsed on top of him on the cheap bed in the crappy old trailer.

"Wow." She mumbled, her head placed on his muscled chest, her hands still circling his abs.

"You could say that." He replied softly. His one hand was playing with her hair while the other rested next to him on the bed.

"I'm Betty Cooper, by the way." She said with a light giggle. Neither of them felt even guilty nor weird about the fact they just had sex.

And the moment he looked down at her with a soft smile and she looked up at him with the same satisfied smile, she knew it.

He was the one. The one who she was going to marry and the one who was going to be the father of her children. The one who was going to give her chills, even when they were eighty years old. He was the one.

He might not have known it yet, but there was no doubt on her mind. It wasn't Archie, no, it was him. Jughead Jones was the one.
